Reposted on: 10.10.09 1846.16 | I finally got around to checking out those scanned visa applications today. That's just insane. My only guess is that before 9/11, our biggest reason to deny a visa application was if we were afraid they were only coming to America to sponge off a couple free social services, so the visa inspectors (or whatever their called) got real complacent(sp?) at their jobs.

I can see room for amibguity on some of these, but that leads to two questions:
1. Can we afford ambiguity on things like visa applications?
