Brian Fellow was hilarious. That theme song is pretty catchy.
Update was good. I didn't care for the bit with the Brazillian singer.
The funniest part about last night's SNL was The Smurfette Show. TV Funhouse continues to be funny.
Since when does Springsteen's wife play guitar?
Damon was alright. Not the best host, but also not the worst host.
Overall, SNL was better than I expected. Next week, Buffy hosts. Hope Freddie Prinze JR doesn't make a cameo. | Promote this thread! | | OlFuzzyBastard

I don't know, the whole thing felt kinda thrown together at the last minute, especially the "Dr. Strangelove" opening sketch. It wasn't bad, it just felt unpolished. | Brian P. Dermody

You didn't see a Bush because there isn't one yet. He'll be along shortly.
I love Maya Rudolph's Donatella Versace, but I though the bit itself was lame. This cast is without a doubt, the one with the sexiest babes. (Rudolph, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey... growr!)
And I disagree, the Brazilian guy rocked the house. "I'm yoost keedeeng!"

And, they should just try to get Dana Carvey back... i'm sure he's not doin' much and could use the money to buy his kids some cool stuff. He'd make a good bush, again. | OlFuzzyBastard

| #6 Posted on 6.10.02 2155.29 Reposted on: 6.10.09 2159.01 | Does anyone ever read the episode reviews on saturday-night-live.com? First, you think how overwhelmingly pathetic most of these people are - (If you don't believe me, Click Here), then you contrast it between some of the conversations we've had on the Wrestling board, and then you just feel pathetic yourself.
EDIT: Wow, this guy didn't get *any* of the jokes! Except the "Dancing In The Dark" homage, so he felt compelled to explain it in great detail. Courtney Cox was in that video? Really?! No shit.

| #10 Posted on 7.10.02 1116.28 Reposted on: 7.10.09 1119.11 | Oops, put my comments about the season opener in the other thread. Here it is, taken from there:
I didn't dig the season opener. The monologue skit about Justin and Britney was horrible. Brian Fellows was okay, but paled in comparison to better Fellows skits. Hannibal going to College was kind of funny, while the latest Boston parody (Zazoooo) was one of the worst ones yet.
The only shining moment of the show was during Weekend Update when Seth Myers and Matt Damon tried to help New Yorkers cope with losing to the Angels.

Hey, your reviews are the only reason I ever discovered that webpage in the first place - actually, through the review of the Rock episode that was also posted on CRZ's board. Too bad you're not writing them anymore. Yours were the only consistently entertaining ones I've found.
