I've been debating this in my head for a little, and I can't seem to decide. They were both awesome matches (though not greatest SD matches ever--think Austin/Benoit from 5/31/01) but I can't decide which was better. Scott Keith sez Edge/Guerrero, by a mere quarter star. I'd like to say that was cooler, but they had No DQ to give it more potential. I think, with a gun to my head, I'd have to say it was Edge/Angle, only cuz I didn't read the spoilers and therefore didn't know who'd win. What do you guys and girls think?

I dug both matches and comparing them because they were great examples of their respective genres - the over-the-top extreme spot/bump fest v. the hold and throw, psychological traditional style of match (complete with 2 screwy events.)

Well, I don't go with star ratings or anything like that. I give the slight edge (no pun intended) to the Angle match, because their rivalry has been brewing all year, and it hasn't bored me yet. BUT, I had a big spot in my heart for Guererro, especially after he admitted to ripping up the Scorpion King poster. I thought the movie was boring too myself (Hey, I'm an anime person, so don't even THINK of flaming me!).

That's a confounding question for me. Both had quality efforts over about the same time-frame. Both were well-structured. What factors in most to be the difference right now, as far as I am concerned, was the odd finish and restart on the Edge v. Angle contest. I will probably review both again, but offhand, even with that restart bit, I would have to go with Edge v. Angle as slightly besting Edge v. Guerrero.
