Alright, being as that I'm a HUGE Chiefs fan, I'd like to get people's opinions on their running back Priest Holmes. He's having a awesome season, and I feel some people don't give him the respect he deserves *cough*210*cough. Do you like him? Hate him? Not know his name?

He's having a good year because they are giving him all the touches in the world. His past has been so amazingly inconsistent, that it wouldnt suprise me at all if he did nothing at all next year. That being said, he should go to the pro-bowl because he has kicked ass this year.

Priest should get a Pro Bowl nod this year, but that's about it. If he continues his ways next season. then I might call him good.

Holmes is having a great year, and hopefully it won't continue at the Hawk's expense this week. It would be so nice to go out of the AFC West on a winning note. Of course, we go from bad to worse next year since we'll be dealing with the Super Bowl champs and the 49ers. Oh yeah, the Cardinals too.

I still think Green is better. They NEVER send Holmes straight in to the middle, they always sweep him or pitch him. Green attacks no-mans land almost every play, and still breaks out quit a bit. And for that, I would like to thank Seattle.

I liked Ahman too, but glad we ended up with Shawn Alexander out of the deal (We used the pick from GB to draft him). Nice to have a KY guy on the team. Now if only Hasselbeck would turn out like he was supposed to . . .

Seattle would be in the playoffs already had we started Dilfer after Matty started to falter (again).

Bah, 210, you need to watch more Chiefs games. He runs up the middle quite a bit. They do run sweeps and such quite a bit, but if it works, why not use it? He's good at those types of plays.

I know, I know. I really dont understand why more teams do that all the time, it usually (Read: USUALLY) works so much better than running into 5 guys just waiting to hammer you.

Well, they both made the Pro Bowl and Shawn would have to hope for a backup slot so looks like you guys win . . . for now . . .

Hey! As a Bears fan I see nothing wrong with sending your guy straight into the middle 30 times a game or so, even if he gains 1.5 yds each time! It's fun to watch Thomas hit that middle repeatedly and keep praying this is the time they actually go off tackle a little. George Halas and Curly Lambeau would be proud of such a game plan.

Curly Lambeau was innovative. He wouldn't be proud of the Bears offense this year.

Having said that, congratulations on you guys having a great season. I still don't know how, given that offense, but it's been great. Urlacher to the Hall of Fame, anyone?

I dont want to sound mean, cause they have won some great games. But that offense is sick, and I am just dumbfounded as to how they have accumulated that record.

Also, my avatar is pretty.

The bears defense is impressive, there is no doubt about that. I'm still not sold on their offense, though, and it just bothers the shit out of me that the Bears put 27 points up on the Bucs defense.

As for the pitch/sweep v. up the middle debate, most teams are lucky enough to feature backs who are good at at least one of the two. Warrick Dunn, on the other hand, cane do neither. That's why the Bucs need to feature Mike Alstott.

210: The Bears offense could be more open, and is capable of it as they showed in the Tampa and Atlanta games, but considering the personnel and the strength of the D and Special Teams, they have obviously decided to do the Ravens approach of ball control and not losing games. Though if you offered to take John Shoop (offensive coordinator) and leave him somewhere in Door County until after the super bowl, I would thank you quite a lot.

Bucs: As someone who has watched Alstott since high school, can you tell me why in the hell he was so de-emphasized in the first place? It seems to me Dunn might not be awful in tandem with Alstott, but by himself he seems somewhat lacking.

Door county is too close, he might find his way to GB, in which case our roles would be reversed next year. How bout ORANGE County?

Priest is the man!! He has been one of the few bright spots on the team. If they can keep Gonzalez and draft a reliable wide receiver then the Chiefs will be a dangerous team next year
