I'm not sure how many people here watch ER after Smackdown! on Thursday, but did anyone else see Romano's arm get amputated from his body by that helicopter tail rotor? That's about as gory a scene as I've seen on broadcast television. For Paul McCrane, that ranks right up there with his chemical mutation & splatter scenes from "Robocop".

This is how much I *haven't* watched "er" in a long time -- I never knew that Emil was a doctor on the show.

Now, I beg to differ with your splatter scenes from Robocop; nothing makes me cringe more than Weller getting *his* arm amputated.

ER jumped the shark after Clooney left, but I watched last night's episode, and that scene was awesome.

I stopped watching "ER" with last year's Dr. Greene's cancer/death storyline, because it just seemed like a blatant attempt to win Anthony Edwards an Emmy. Last night I finished playing a video game and went back to the TV just in time to see the docs go in the hospital and then to the scene when they are discussing whether they can reattach the arm. When they took his oxygen mask off I flipped out, because through all the melodrama on that show Romano had become my favorite character. "Augh, I'm at County." Too good. Luckily I had a friend who was taping it and I'll get to see it next week.

Yes!!! I saw it via tape at midnight last night and nearly woke up the house.

If a TV drama can have a "Holy Shit" moment, this was it.

I agree 100%. I actually heard those chants in my head last night after that happened.

I read the spoilers so I was a little prepared but HOT DAMN was that graphic.

"I expect you to treat them like your mother, except without the inappropriate touching."

Romano rocks.
