I like the version of Christian and Edge's entrance--the camera trying to find where they are like they are contestants on The Price is right, and then they enter and go with the "For those of you with flash photography..." spiel.

Rey Mysterio and shane Helms make good entrances too.

Rob Van Dam's entrance to Pantera's "Walk". Talk about forever to get in the ring....it was like the Pope of ECW had arrived and was taking time to bless all the hardcore faithful! One of those things that has to be experienced live and in person to truly appreciate the pop it generated.

(Hell, at last year's Pillman show, when Bill Alfonso came out to it, the place went nuckin' futs and he was just the special guest ref for the Credible/Raven vs. Saturn/Malenko match.)

Several people have already mentioned it, but Sandman. The beer, the cigarette, the cane....you hear those chords & know that by God, even if it takes the guy ten minutes to get in the ring, someone's gonna get their ass kicked before all's said and done. Another one like RVD, had to be experienced to be believed.

Y2J. Face or heel, I mark like a madwoman every time that countdown starts.

I'm especially diggin' Rey Rey's entrance. Don't know how it's done exactly, but it just looks soooo cool.

Rey Rey's entrance is by far the best right now, due to it:

a)Having the incredibly cool cannonball entry;
b)Being an actual SONG;
c)Being an actual song that isn't crappy nu-metal.

Of course, if someone like D-Von had the same entrance I'd probably hate it. ;)

Gee...thanks!

I'd have to give my vote to Piper/Orndorff from WM I, with the full marching band. Also the Undertaker in SummerSlam 92, with the hearse.

I also recall toward the end of Benoit's days with WCW, he had an entrance where he was walking through smoke and lasers, and that was pretty decent.

Everyone seems to be forgetting the man who saved WCW in mid 1996 with his entrance that turned the balance of power in the Monday Night Wars completely in Nitro's favor. The man, the myth, the legend: Glacier.

As for most emotional ring entrance, nothing will ever top Magnum T.A. going to the ring in '87 after the car accident.

I'm torn. On the one hand, Magnum Tokyo has a dance routine and women stuff money in his pants on his way to the ring. On the other hand, Milano Collection AT comes out with a team of runway models... and his INVISIBLE DOG.

I think I'm going to have to go with Magnum.

I know I should have just let this thread die, but I just heard the Tokyo Magnum theme off of Tombstone Radio on live365.com. That theme at least (I've never seen his entrance because I don't get to see Japanese wrestling) was totally fun and actually catchy. His theme makes me dance like Alex Wright and shouldn't that be the goal of all wrestling themes?
