Booker T. vs. Y2J
Have they ever hooked it up over an extended feud? Their styles seem like they would compliment each other perfectly, and we know they can both go on the mic. I think this one would be WM-worthy. Not main event this year or anything, but an awesome IC feud. Any thoughts or objections? Promote this thread! | | The Vile1

I remember Booker T and Jericho had a WCW world title match early on in the Invasion angle on RAW, which Booker T won. After Jericho won the title I think he had a WCW title with booker T on smackdown which he won. But other than that I don't think these guys have ever had a full fledged feud. | Gugs

Everyone raves about the Booker T vs. Benoit series in WCW but to be honest I haven't seen a great Booker T match since then. And that WAS against Benoit, the best wrestler in the world. | oldschoolhero

On his own he's not bad either; he's just not mindblowing. | cfgb

| #6 Posted on 22.9.02 0753.46 Reposted on: 22.9.09 0754.30 | I remember during Booker T's TV Title days, those two would fight regularly on Nitro and proceed to do the EXACT same match every single time out.
And I still got a kick out of it.
It would start with lots of Jericho posing, before time to lock up. When that time came, Booker T would shuffle his feet a whole lot - at which point Jericho would whine to the referee about it. The ref would do nothing, and Jericho would throw a temper tantrum.
They'd run through their trademark moves and spot - with Jericho cheating like wild at first, Booker T making the comeback - and either Jericho finding a new way to get DQed, or Booker T pinning him clean with a Missile Dropkick.
Those two seemed to be having a lot of fun and always stood out among the mess that was WCW...which is primarly for a long time why they were my two favorite wrestlers on the roster. | rlbehan

Both of them are good on the mike, so we get the best of everything, good matches and good promos. Who could ask for more? | insideSOLUTION

it's funny because on my "best of jericho in wcw 98" comp, i have them fighting each other about 7 times (2 singles matches [maybe more] and 4 or 5 tag matches [on opposing sides]) and the singles matches almost go EXACTLY the way you described. the matches were nothing great, but good, fun matches with some nice moves. both guys have bulked up a lot since then, and both have gotten better, even if they really haven't shown it lately. | cactuspete
