| #2 Posted on 20.1.02 1716.09 Reposted on: 20.1.09 1725.59 | Well some of their players' best days are behind them, like Scottie Pippen, Shawn Kemp, Dale Davis, and probably even Damon Stoudamire.
But still, with Rasheed Wallace, Ruben Patterson, Bonzi Wells, and Derek Anderson they should still be than .500. But, I don't think their team, even on paper, looks as good as the Kings (Bibby, Christie, Stojakovic, Webber, Divac, Pollard, Turkoglu), the Spurs (Robinson, Duncan, Steve Smith, Daniels, Parker), Lakers (Shaq, Kobe, and well that's all really), or Mavs (Nash, Finley, Nowitzki, Howard, Bradley, Hardaway)
They probably should have a much better record, but where the are in the standings isn't too far off I don't think, they're only half a game out of third in the Pacific, and 6th in the West, which is where they probably should be.

Besides, how long before 'Sheed, despite the presence of MJ, continues being 'Sheed with all those technical fouls he collects?
If Portland can trade Wallace and get someone just as good with a better attitude, they should do it. But it takes two teams to make a trade, and I'm not sure what teams would bite. Hopefully not my Pacers.

The Blazers are the one who would reject it, the last thing they need is another shooting guard/small forward, unless they moved one for Spreewell. Maybe a Bonzi Wells/Damon Stoudamire package for Spreewell? But if the Blazers went after anyone it would probably be size like Marc Jackson of Golden State.
