I hope this becomes a regular feature on MTV2, where an artist picks what to play for the whole day. | Promote this thread! | | OlFuzzyBastard

Maybe Courtney will pick that one song by the Distillers, since the lead singer sounds just like her on that song. | Spiraling_Shape

Probably so she can promote her new movie that comes out this weekend. They don`t mention her in the commercials, just Kevin Bacon & Charlize Theron, even though she`s a main character apparently. | DJ FrostyFreeze

She was acting? I've always assumed she really WAS a crack whore.
I think that letting an artist pick the programming for a day is a cool idea, but they could have picked someone more interesting than Courtney Love. | Gavintzu

I didn't see that one in years, and that was always one of my favorites.

That was a cool idea to have someone take over the channel for a day. I had that fantasy many moons ago of being able to take over MTV for 24 hrs and show some good stuff. A full hour of 'Mats and solo stuff. A full hour of Matthew Sweet. They'd never let me do it again. | tomvejada

It's in hour long blocks usually:
The 60's Generation Rock Fest - 70's & 80's metalish stuff Pop Show - 80's pop (Michael Jackson, Prince, etc.) All-Star Jams - Mostly 60's and 70's and mostly live type stuff We Are the 80's - Just what it says, except it usually shows those videos that MTV showed when it first came on (of course, growing up in the sticks I didn't have MTV so I'm guessing here). Some weird, cool & forgotten shit is usually shown here. Too cool
