So anyone else part of the sect of Norton-ites? And if you are, anyone know what he's been up to? Any fond Norton memories?

He just had a kick ass approach of kicking ass. Loved him in 'Vicious & Delicious' (when we believed Buff could be a big star one day) when Buff would dance around and he would just whoop people. He had a great powerbomb, and that shoulderbreaker was pretty wicked looking too.

I remember he tagged with Ice Train to form Fire and Ice.
He had a sweet powerbomb too.

I totally remember that night with the Cat. Me and my friends were watching, wondering what the hell the Cat did to Scott backstage to deserve that beating. I particularly remember the knife-edge chops he gave the Cat. My god, they were worse than anything Benoit could do to you. I have never felt so bad for anyone in wresting, EVER. Cat's chest was SOO red! I wish I had taped it, I want to see it again!!!

Speaking of Norton's chops vs. Benoit's, Benoit chopped Ice Train so hard in a match on Nitro that Train supposedly started crying in the middle of the match.

Honestly i would give anything to have Norton come out one time to the nWo music (or some good newer music) and just punk out a whiner (jericho).... now wouldn't that be an awesome way to start a feud.... have him bad mouthing norton or people from the old wcw.. and have norton come out....

| #14 Posted on 21.1.02 1343.56 Reposted on: 21.1.09 1450.13 | I miss the super-nasty chops of yore. Seems like nobody's willing to take a really hard one these days, 'cept maybe for Regal. Of course, he's got that super-pale skin that makes it show up soooo well...
But just once, I want to hear a chop echo through the arena like a gunshot, so loud the crowd forgets to "woo" because they're too busy wincing. I'm a sucker for stiff shots in a match. I loved seeing Flair and Steamboat chop each other 'til their pecs were ground chuck. I got a huge kick out of Rick Steiner Steinerlining some jobber so hard his chest BLED, back when he didn't, you know... suck.
I guess my point is I want to see Tajiri and Test form a tag team and kick people in the face, dammit. And I want to see Scott Norton show up and powerbomb the living crap out of some poor soul.

Yeah, this is true... Norton sells like... well, like a big huge guy who can't sell. I think he spent too much time in Japan (where a guy as large as him is somewhat rare) being booked as Big Gaijin Monster #5.
Admittedly, he LOOKS like a guy who could, legitimately, no-sell a hell of a lot of stuff. He's so thick it looks like he's got quads instead of pecs.

ARGH! You're going to kill me!
WHY must big guys sell normal moves? Norton sold the important ones just fine. I can't imagine he'd be a real easy guy to put down for the 1, 2, 3...
