2-16 in the M&M regime.
They went from a really weak playoff contender to the worst team in football in under a year and a half. Run them out of town on a rail now and try to build around Harrington.
Forget drafting offensive linemen, the Lions have shown that they're incapable of doing so. From here on out, only free agent offensive linemen. Forget about the draft period, unless you're drafting skill position players. Draft your QB, your RB and your WR, maybe a linebacker here or there. The rest, get from free agency.
I'm hurting, brothers. Thank God the Wings just opened up training camp. Without the boys in Red, things around Detroit would totally stink sports-wise. I mean, I'm not hanging my hat on the Stackhouse-less Pistons..... yet. Promote this thread! | | dunkndollaz

The Cowpokies aren't bad enough to be an automatic loss - I'm liking Green Bay over/at Detroit and New England over KC at home......I'll make my final decision a little later in the week.

Yeah but after that supposed game they played against Houston the first week, and the way the Titans won their first, did it not seem pretty foregone that the Titans would make mincemeat of them???
I thought so!!!

To me in that first game the Texans didn't play all that well. Dallas did play that bad, though.
Anyway, it's a moot point as I am out of 1 suicide pool. Took the Chargers in the other, so I can keep going.
Yeah, GB showed me a lot yesterday. A lot of bad. Not sure I can pick them. NE looks great, but I fear for the letdown week at some point.
Pther possibilities include the Falcons at home against the Bengals. Depending on tonight, perhaps the Eagles at home against the 'Boys???

QOTY candidate. I saw that when it first aired. Almost cried laughing, one of those said laughing cries that you do when something hurts so bad that you have to laugh and cry at the same time. People here in Michigan love football. We've backed winners in Ann Arbor, frustrating occasional winners in East Lansing and losers in Pontiac (now Detroit) since the 1950s. How many other 2-14 teams in the league would sell out every home game before the season started, even with a new stadium. 64000 seats, gone. Gone for several years in advance, too. We are the most loyal (read: stupid) fans in the entire NFL, short of those poor bastards in Cleveland. Long suffering doesn't even begin to describe it.
Oh yeah, bet the house on the Ravens in your suicide pools. Those guys might be the only squad more inept offensively than the Lions and their defense is massively overrated. | Zeruel

They haven't stolen the Bengals gimmick. See, the Bengals gimmick is to get some pretty good players, play under your potential, and hate each other while doing it. Thus, causing a 3-4 win season.
The Lions are just shitty. They are the least talented team in the league right now. The Bengals were NEVER the least talented, they just don't care.
