| #1 Posted on 9.9.02 1713.36 Reposted on: 9.9.09 1729.05 | Brian Popkin, in his column "The Ultimate Fan", regrading the Ultimate Warrior, says ------------------- If you'd like to visit his home unannounced you can go to his listed address at 8711 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd. #185 Scottsdale, AZ 85255. Odds are he'd kick your ass. ------------------
Just for information's sake, that street address is a local post office branch, & #185 is a (currently) unassigned box. And I've certainly never seen anybody remotely Warrior-like at the market across the street -- I'd notice that!

It seems that he used to pick up mail there, but stopped. If you live in Scottsdale, you can keep looking out for the Warrior. | Grimis

I did not actually go there to stalk him. :-) I got it. I live just around the corner from the address, & recogniseed it immediately as the post office building when I first read it. (Didn't keep me from saying "Eeep" though.) I've seen various NFL players, assorted NHL wives (Hockey players don't shop.), & a few other celebrities around the neighbourhood. But alas, no Warrior. | skorpio17

| #6 Posted on 11.9.02 1534.28 Reposted on: 11.9.09 1536.52 | If anybody is interested, The Ultimate Warrior just put a 5,000 word column on his website. I thought it was an interesting read. His main point was against Moral Relativism. Here are some quotes of what he said, it is a very long read.
http://www.ultimatewarrior.com/091102.htm
“I’m sickened by it. I read that others are not. I just kept asking myself while I was reading: How the hell does it happen that people can’t see the truth? How is it that Americans can find that America is somewhat, even equally, culpable for the happening of 9/11?”
“There are countless, and I mean, countless examples of this all around you. A few weeks ago the NEA (National Education Association) developed guidelines and teaching materials for teachers to help them handle the one year remembrance of 9/11 in the classroom. Their orders were to not access blame and stress tolerance instead. I.e., there is no Good and Evil, no Right and Wrong, no True or False -- there are no facts we can use to explain what tragically happened on 9/11/01.”
“The fight America has on its hands militarily is one thing. A fight our American intelligence and soldiery will not lose. Drunken, doped-up third world peasants paradise-bent on living as if it is still the stone age challenge us, now let them taste the full, unadulterated wrath of America’s force. Let them drown in pools of their own blood. Collateral damage? I’m an American. I care more about American children going to bed hungry at night than I do for those who, killed as an unpreventable consequence of war, refuse to use their last breath fighting against the dictatorial regimes they willingly allow to control them. People this weak do not deserve to live. I will not disrespect, literally spit in the face, of those on Flt 93, who used their own lives, their last fricking breath of existence -- fighting. With no training except their American Patriotism they refused to die a cowardly death. “ | Jaguar

I care more about Arab children going to bed hungry at night than I do for those who, killed as an unpreventable consequence of war, refuse to use their last breath fighting against the dictatorial regimes they willingly allow to control them. People this weak do not deserve to live.
Woo, change one word and it sounds like it should be coming from Bin Laden, right?
Anyway, my point here is that once you start killing non-combatants (or just start killing at all) you lose any moral high-ground that you think you stand on. Murder is still murder, no matter what country you're from. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
