..off of the Dish Network rules it in just about every way. I could leave it on 24/7 and to hell with the TV stations.

Johnny Cash of course is on a lot.

Tennessee Ernie Ford I've come to grow fond of, Bob Wills, Tom T. Hall, Kitty Wells, Buck Owens, George Jones, Jean Shepard, Loretta Lynn, so many greats.

There was a version of "Ring of Fire" done by one of the Carter Sisters that simply blew me away. So different than "The Man in Black's" version.

They cut off at about 1975 or so, so they dont get into the Crystal Gayle/Barbara Mandrell spew very often, which is muy good.

Modern Country is just fugly bad.

Modern country isn't even country. It's Hallmark card bullshit.

People get so freaked out when they see that I listen to Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard and Hank Williams Sr. and the like, because the only country music they've ever listened to is Garth Brooks and Shania Twain and all that Nashville bullshit.

Eddie, modern Nashville country is truly fugly, but there still is good country music being made. Go to Bloodshot Records if you want to check a little of it out.

Oh yes, Music Choice owns me. Yay for the Electronic and New Wave channels, and may they give Old School Rap its own channel.
