He's made a fair amount of noise about wanting to be more of the offense, not just an "inside the 20" type of guy. He understands that it was the TDs that got him to the Pro Bowl, but he wants to do more between the 20s.

seriously though, Bubba has shown excellent work and great progress in the offseason. The only question is whether or not he fits into Packer offense as well. The Steelers TE (whose name eludes me) is a great reciever (or was in college), but he does not fit into the Steelers offense as a reciever. Which sucks

Most receivers, in their first couple of years in a West Coast offense, have difficulty in picking up all of the different plays and terminologies. It is much easier to start a tight end out inside the 20 and then as he gets more comfortable and capable within the offense to move him outside the 20.

Hell, I don't think Tyrone Davis has done a damn thing since his TD and Lambeau Leap RIGHT BETWEEN ME AND ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER vs. the Jets in 2000 (which we lost).
If not...I'll be optimistic that our WR situation will pan out. Gotta believe Terry Glenn can turn face under that benevolent Packer influence, just like Andre Rison in '96.
