HONG KONG F'N PHOOEY is getting the Scooby-Doo treatment.

"The [live-action/computer-animated] picture will focus on the origin of Phooey's supernatural talents and a villain intent on stealing those powers." Um, it's called a BOOK. How complicated is that? (Okay, the shapeshifting Phooeymobile was a little bit surreal.)

Something in my brain is prompting me to fetch a torch and a pitchfork, and I'm not doing much to dampen that urge.

They must think Hong Kong Phooey is a lot more popular than it really is. All I remember is that Scatman Crothers provided the voice.

The only reason I know ANYTHING about the show is because it's on reruns on Cartoon Network and my sister loves it (She has an excuse, she's 8).

Thats my extremly biased opinion.


They did make a "Josie and the Pussycats" movie that was terrible too.But I think nobody really cares about "Josie and the Pussycats".

Did you see the "Josie and the Pussycats" movie? (Hey, it's got Rachael Leigh Cook in it, okay?) It's not *fantastic*, but it's a worthwhile way to spend an hour and a half. Better than that "Scooby Doo" movie, at least.

The best part of "Josie and the Pussycats" was actually Josie and the Pussycats,I'll give you that but everything else around it was garbage.

The core of the Josie movie was actually cool, in that it was supposed to be a satire on modern media and commercialism. Of course, it didn't end up that way. It would have helped to actually have Alan Cummins and Parker Posey be Alexander and Alexandra Cabot.
