Reformat your hard drive.
I shall try that, as well as doing a huge virus scan...just in case...
EDIT: I should probably explain what happens when I enter Hotmail:
Hotmail Inbox loads...almost done, Pop-up window pops up, closes on it's own within a second Hotmail Inbox reloads...almost done. Pop-up window pops up, closes on it's own... Rinse and repeat. The only way I CAN get into Hotmail is to open two windows and enter Hotmail with both. Eventually, one of the windows just loads.

| #6 Posted on 17.8.02 1724.39 Reposted on: 17.8.09 1729.04 | What's wrong with Hotmail? Let me count the ways...
1) You must put up with ads and other bullshit. 2) It messes up often, as you know. 3) Limited space. 4) The hotmail.com domain, like the aol.com domain, is looked down upon by many. 5) Privacy. Hotmail INSERTS YOUR IP ADDRESS INTO EACH OUTGOING MAIL.
I suggest that you let your account stay broken, and get a new free web-based account from places without such problems. Try...
-Evilemail.com. Great services, fast and easy to use, and interesting domains available. -Safe-Mail.net. Even BETTER services. | CRZ

Every mail server should do this. Only spammers have a problem with a clear and easy identification of an email's origination point. There are many other ways to "protect your privacy" if you're that paranoid.

| #9 Posted on 17.8.02 1744.49 Reposted on: 17.8.09 1759.05 | My problem with the privacy is that there is no way to know if it is being used by companies for whatever reason. And if bulk e-mail sellers have your IP, it is possible to have junk mail start showing up in one's mailbox. Also, the chance for any random person stumbling upon someone's real location is real, and it really shouldn't be something to fear. There is danger even for someone who isn't using e-mail for evil. Or perhaps it's all in my head.
I admit the picture is a bit large. I'll take it down after this click.

I really don't like Hotmail because it's hard to get a unique name...so I'm using Canada.com's email service. I've had problems maybe once or twice since opening my account about two years ago.
Something to consider...a cheezy romantic email address is available at http://www.loveletters.com. Impress your special someone with an "@ilove____.com" address! My sweetheart loves my Steven@ilovejenny.com email addy.
stay away from Hotmail. I do that all the time.
