Um... since when is it "work" to give speeches? Now I understand that he does not have the best command of the English language, so one might consider HIS speeches "work", but other than that, I don't see how talking to his adoring public constitutes work... | calvinh0560

Yeah, he's such a bastard for leaving this sweltering hell-hole in DC(Heat Index yesterday: 119) in the middle of August.
The President is working. It's not like he's going fishing in the wilderness for a few months. Any president with half a brain(D or R) would get the hell out of town during the dog days.

Yeah, well, how about that photo op of him chopping wood. In August. In Texas.
And I suppose I was being unfair. I mean, he did take last August off as well, and if really caused any problems, there would have been some sort of catastrophic event early last September that we were miserably unprepared for, right? | calvinh0560

| #20 Posted on 16.8.02 1549.19 Reposted on: 16.8.09 1559.03 | Err if you're the president you're working 24 hours a day, vacation or not. Isn't the president still working when they go to Europe or Asia, or anywhere else. Apparently you MUST be in DC, or else you're not working.
The best thing about these 'vacations' is that congress is not in session. You should always invest on the first day they go into recess.
This recession is really hitting me hard, and our company. We only have increased profits 30% over last year. Last year we increased profits by 20% and have done that since I've worked here.
