| #43 Posted on 19.9.13 1416.34 Reposted on: 19.9.20 1417.51 | One of the local zines interviewed me via email last month, and have finally published it online. I probably would alter some of my answers if I were doing it again THIS week, but the main "scoop" is something I know a lot of you have been waiting for me to say. ;-)
Check it out at Stubble Magazine (stubblemag.com) or wait for me to Facebook it up when I'm home tonight.
I have several candidate questionnaires to come and this morning I taped an interview with the community radio station - all of it will end up on the Facebook page for sure, and I'm sure I'll link to some of them here to keep you interested as well.
But really, go hit that "Facebook" page (facebook.com). While you're there, please use your powers of "Like" and "Share" if/as you see fit. | JimBob Skeeter

http://kfai.org/news/2013/09/38665 (6:49)
This was all that survived editing out of a 20-30 minute interview - I was originally worried I'd have some trouble speaking off the cuff, but I think I only audibly lost my train of thought, like, once or twice. Not sure if folks will know when I'm funnin', and taking a lot of what I said seriously probably won't do me any favours. ;-) | CRZ

The order is randomized, and then they start with a different name for each of our 117 precincts with an attempt to give each name the same percentage of the populace. I DO have the longest name on the ballot, even longer than the folks with nicknames listed. I'm also the only guy between two women! | CRZ

If I understand the rules correctly (and it's entirely possible that I don't), they can only eliminate Wilson (EDIT: and all the undeclared write-ins...which is all 117 of them) tonight, because theoretically it's possible for Gorman to pick up enough votes to pass Carney. (EDIT: Actually, I'm not even totally sure if they can eliminate Wilson because the write-ins should go first.)
I also received 435 (0.63%) #2 rankings and 422 (0.69%) #3 rankings. That's a total of 1027 votes amongst all rankings - not too shabby! About 1/30th of what I was aiming for to win... but it's only my first major race. ;-)
(EDIT 2: I should add that 1027 votes won't get me higher than 8th [and there's very little chance of me even getting that high] so I did tweet a concession.) (edited by CRZ on 5.11.13 2235)

It's not entirely impossible Hodges won't get over 40K, but we may get down to 3-4 candidates before it happens. And if it DOESN'T happen, we'll have to eliminate 33 candidates. Mark Andrew probably could have waited for his quasi-concession until tomorrow.
