As far as I can tell, there are no new hand-me down bows in my future. It is time to buy a bow.
From what I'm seeing, bows have changed tremendously in the last 30 years. Everything I'm familiar with is out of date, and I have no idea what to buy.
Without pointing me to Archery Talk or 24hourcampfire, can someone give me some basic advice about what I should be looking for? I'm like 6'5 and can handle a decent pull strength. I'm not sure if I will hunt deer or Elk but I'd like the option down the road.
I hate to just walk into Cabella's or Bass Pro and ask for help. I'd rather walk in knowing what I want and not put myself at their mercy. Ideally I could get back in for under $200 for a starter set-up before I figure out that I'm not really going to be into this long term with a $1000 investment... | Promote this thread! |             | CRZ
