"All Right. I'm gonna tell you something. About four years ago, I made a comment to some good friends of mine in the world of wrestling that, we would know that things had gone too far because some day, one of wrestling promoters would use an actual gun in an angle. That they would have a wrestler pull a gun on another wrestler. And that when that day came it'd mark the begining of the end for wrestling. Well that day came on Monday, November 4, 1996.
On Monday Night Raw, the big angle they've been doing, was of course they were gonna do a live interview at Pillman's home in Cincinatti. They've been talking about all weekend, ever since last Monday. Yesterday I made a comment that I was a little bit concerned because Pillman made a comment about Austin 3:16. And by the way, that's another thing, I'm not real pleased by the fact that they're using Bible verses in this, or take offs of Bible verses. But he said he wasn't worried about that because he had Pillman 357. On Monday Raw, real quick, the matches Goldust and Windham ended up double disqualification, Sultan beat Pug, Razor Ramon over Marc Mero when Helmsley and Mr. Perfect interfered. Those were the matches. They don't matter.
What matters is, they go live to Pillman's home in Cincinnati several times. Austin shows up. Austin breaks through the back door. The wife screaming her headed her off. Pillman pulls a gun, aims it at Austin, and just as he's about to pull the trigger, the satellite goes out. They make a whole big deal the rest of the show about trying to get back to the sattellite. They do finally get back at the very end and Austin has took off and Pillman's friends are in the room trying to calm him down. And all of the sudden Austin breaks in and charges after Pillman. Pillman pulls up the gun, aims it Austin and the show goes off the air. The beginning of wrestling. The beginning of the end of wrestling. Monday Night, November the 4th, 1996. Mark it down."
Sorry, CRZ, but he never actually say that the world is coming to an end.
On a completely selfish note, please keep recapping, because I can't get the show over here.

| #3 Posted on 1.8.02 1850.34 Reposted on: 1.8.09 1852.45 | I have no problem with the idea that it'd be nice to have for a viable alternative to the WWE, really I don't. But honestly, I can't quite figure how people - ANYBODY - can find this garbage defensible as something worth viewing, much less purchasing. Maybe you can explain it to me?
Why is it I can see Vince Russo sitting with this on his desk saying "How can anybody NOT find this worth viewing and purchasing???" with a look of perplex equal to the look of disgust you probably had...
You were right though, it was so pathetic I loved the recap...
If you stop recapping these, I'll read the results over at 411, but they don't talk about retarded girls with tongue problems there and mention signs like "I CANNOT SPELL..." It will be a shame.
