Fox's new show (easily NBC's most high-profile new program and best hope for a hit) at the 9:30 slot on Thursday instead of leading of an hour. Sad to say, it's probably so they can avoid Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men on Thursdays....so, of course, one wonders why NBC wouldn't put Fox's show on a different night with less competition. | John Orquiola

At least one more year. Hannibal renewed last night. (insidetv.ew.com)
Hannibal is also a Bryan Fuller reunion show. Caroline Dhavernas from Wonderfalls is recurring and Ellen Muth from Dead Like Me guest starred last night and will return in future episodes. | Matt Tracker

Based on how this season has been structured, Hannibal, Graham, and Crawford working together can continue for quite a while even before they discover the real villain in all this is Hannibal himself. And then they can switch it to a Silence of the Lambs type scenario with Hannibal imprisoned and potentially introduce Clarice Starling. That right there is possibly two seasons or more worth of stories. | Amos Cochran

But the retcon precedents can't keep going without threatening to dilute the books. The angel bodies and the card that reads "what do you see" ... that can only continue for so long. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
