Alberto Del Rio was suspended by Booker T for one show for his actions from Monday. This, of course, didn't actually accomplish much. After Big Show won his match against Kane, he discovered that Del Rio had sabotaged his bus, stealing its tires and then proceeding to dump paint over his head as he wailed in dismay.
Cody Rhodes beat Kofi Kingston, trying to make a statement to be included in the Elimination Chamber.
The Great Khali defeated Titus O'Neil, but both men were taken out afterwards by Mark Henry. Henry wanted into the Chamber, and Booker gave him a shot if he could beat Randy Orton in the main event.
Jack Swagger beat Justin Gabriel in short order to try to make his own case.
Tensai beat Drew McIntyre by 3MB-induced DQ. Brodus Clay saved Tensai from the post-match beatdown, and with the encouragement of the Funkadactyls, and much to JBL's dismay, Tensai joined in the dancing. Is a new tag team born?
Antonio Cesaro defeated Sin Cara, then got in Miz's face backstage to taunt him about the Lesnar attack, leading to a pullapart brawl.
In the main event, Mark Henry beat Randy Orton convincingly, to apparently earn the fourth spot in the Elimination Chamber. Two more to go!

Now? I want him to annihilate most of the roster and have a Punk-esque run of dominance as champion. | Wpob

I am with you. I don't think i Have ever gone from hating a wrestler as much as I hated Mark Henry to absolutely loving him. It took a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time, but they finally got his character right.
I hope he crushes everyone in the Chamber, and then the Chamber itself. | CruelAngel777

I really dug Albert the Hip Hop Hippo back when he was teaming with Scotty 2 Hotty. I really hope this is the end of Tensai and the return of the Hippo. | Spiraling_Shape

| #5 Posted on 9.2.13 0749.53 Reposted on: 9.2.20 0751.05 | I concur 100% on Mark Henry...I found him incredibly boring most of his run, but once he opened the Hall Of Pain and started shouting angry phrases sans mic, he became amazing.
Ugh...more vehicle-based destruction...why does Vince love to throw away so much money on cars?
And I guess it's official that there's only one Chamber match on the PPV, which is fine. I figured The Shield would be in a 3-man tag at Mania, vs. Ryback/Sheamus/?Orton?...but if they're basically doing that this month, where does that leave The Shield at The Grandest Stage Of Them All? | El Nastio

And dare I say it, he's the MVP of Smackdown right now. Seriously, look back to the feud with the Big Show. The whole "imma rip off this cage door and smash you with it" essentially started him down this path of awesomeness.
The whole "throw off four people at once" thing? Awesome. And because they needed like eight guys to hold him down, that made it so that Orton had a clear shot, which enabled Henry to get retaliation.
They actually made the "World's Strongest Man" into a practical part of the gimmick.
Mark Henry - Smackdown MVP. Who would have guessed that a few months ago?
Still applies today.

A run-in attack on somebody, perhaps?
I liked the paint splatters on the camera, and I thought Tensai's dancing with Clay and the Funkettes was hilarious. Especially the first couple of false starts.
Can we please get rid of the blue Sin Cara lighting already?
I missed most of the show, but I was quite pleased with Henry squashing Orton as he so richly deserves.

And re-paint it?
Last week they had the Show/ADR brawl include breaking through a car window, which should be a big no-no after...oh man, who was it that was injured doing that many moons ago? In WCW? Was that Goldberg? | Mr. Boffo

Look, I don't want to remove the wondrous magic from your childlike eyes, but.... they probably just hosed it off.

Maybe they used the same paint that Pam & Dwight used a few weeks ago on Warehouse Guy's Truck. That was the other reference I was too sleepy to come up with in my original reply, since apparently all my brain could think of at 1:30am was "Gonna use oil-based paint, cause the wood is pine." | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
