The CW and Warner Bros. are now casting for Wonder Woman in Amazon. (deadline.com)

They're using the pseudonym of "Isis" in the breakdown for the character casting call but even Geoff Johns has taken to Twitter to calm complaints, that her name will be Diana on the show.

I have to say, I'm optimistic. Though they are not related productions, Arrow has already worked out so well from a creative and ratings standpoint. It seems like a corner has been turned for comic book properties on TV, especially with Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D. on the way.

The real question is will they make try to shove her into Arrow before the end of the year since Arrow seems to have blown through three seasons worth of stories.

Fixed.

Loving Arrow's anti-decompression. Very Jack Kirby can do in 8 pages (drawn over the weekend) what most comic book artists and writers would take a mini-series to do.

Me too. Arrow's "anti-decompression" (great term) is one of things I like most about the show. They're balls to the wall every week. It's refreshing.

And it's not like they don't have a huge list of things yet to accomplish. Laurel as Black Canary, Merlyn as a villainous archer, Thea as Speedy, episodes about Deathstroke and the other DC villains lined up, the mysteries of the Island solved, the big story of what "the future for Starling City" being planned is, to name just a few. Roy Harper is still waiting in the wings some day. Hell, Oliver can grow a goatee down the line, even.

This show is the anti-It took Clark TEN YEARS to fly and put on the costume.
