This is PC-only and requires Steam so I'm sure someone will complain, but if you're not that person, check out the latest Humble Bundle and pay what you want for: • Darksiders • Metro 2033 • Red Faction: Armageddon • Company of Heroes • Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts • Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
And the best part of the deal - beat the average price (currently less than $6.00) and add on Saints Row The Third.
I have RF:A on 360 and like it well enough - it's nothing special but certainly not bad. I've heard really good things about Saints Row The Third. I won't ever bother with the rest of them, but you can't find fault with the price.
Besides, you decide how your funds are split between charity, the folks that host the Humble Bundles, and THQ (which is basically a charity case itself at this point). "It's for a good cause," he said as delusional self-justification.

I bought this the other day and have enjoyed SR:3. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise so I guess its a win for THQ if I buy anything in this series, but the problem is I'm most likely going to pick up something used and not new if I do.
If they put SR1&2 out cheap, I'd pick those up too.
THQ stock is valued under $10 million right now. The humble bundle has generated $3 but who knows what THQs cut will be - most people are recommending stiffing THQ which seems like a fucked up idea, but the HB fans tend to skew indie and anti-corp.
If this hits $5 mill in revenue over the weekend i'm buying some shares at under $1.50 /per

I played and nearly beat 100% of Saint's Row 1 (except for some crazy mission where I have to ride shotgun in a car and blow up a plane with a rocket launcher while people with automatic guns shoot at me). That game was more of a traditional GTA clone than the ridiculousness (in a good way) that the later games seem to have become.

I'm a huge Saints Row fan having owned all three titles. I'm torn with THQ losing so much money, as I hate the incomplete yearly WWE games with a passion but I love the SR series. If the company did fall apart next year hopefully another large company will buy Volition and fund Saints Row 4.
