Hey, did you know there's a PPV this Sunday? TNA announced their card for the first time...two days ago. And yet, when you think about it, it's still better than The E throwing out three impromptu matches during the actual event. Then again, The E is also smarter than to put this up against Week 1 of the NFL regular season. Anyway, here's your card:
-TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Christopher Daniels & Kazarian v. AJ Styles & Kurt Angle I'm remembering Kurt's extended sell of disappointment after his BFG series loss and I can't help but think he turns on Styles here. Either way, the World Tag Team Champions of the World have been such a hot act that they've gotten awesome mileage out of a Daniels mic gaffe! That's impressive! Champs retain.
-Rob Van Dam v. Magnus Magnus is going to be a superstar, but I don't think they're quite ready to push him just yet. I'll give this to Van Dam.
-TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Miss Tessmacher v. Tara Tessmacher's reign is going just fine and I'll pick her to retain. Tara turns on her post-match to keep this program going.
-X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sonjay Dutt v. Zema Ion Man, they totally forgot all about Ion in the midst of this BFG and A&E hoopla, haven't they? I'm assuming Sorenson's ready to come back soon, so I'll pick Ion to retain.
-BFG SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Samoa Joe v. Jeff Hardy This is a tough call. Jeff got the better of Joe on Thursday and all signs are pointing to Joe feuding with Magnus...but Joe's also a candidate for the A&E angle. I'm going say Joe gets his win back here.
-BFG SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Bully Ray v. "Cowboy" James Storm This is another tough call. Ray's probably the favorite to be the guy behind Aces & Eights at this point...but they wouldn't have spent so much time building up Storm if this wasn't going to be his big payoff. Storm wins.
-BFG SERIES FINALS: Samoa Joe v. "Cowboy" James Storm Storm gets his big win that's been in the works for a year and Joe goes off to feud with Magnus.
-AUSTIN ARIES v. ??? Aries wins and we get the big reveal of the guy behind Aces & Eights. Logical pick: Bully Ray "Wishful thinking" pick: Dave Batista Pick Nobody Wants: Eric Bischoff/Jeff Jarrett WTF? Pick: Matt Hardy

-TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Christopher Daniels & Kazarian v. AJ Styles & Kurt Angle AJ and Angle aren't even sufficiently on the same page to both show up in Hogan's office at the same time. I also recall Daniels tossing both of them out of a battle royal at one point, so I guess we've finally reached a point where Daniels can beat AJ. Winners: World Tag Team Champions of the World (Daniels/Kaz)
-Rob Van Dam v. Magnus We might see an Aces and Eights appearance here. Winner: Rob Van Dam
-TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Miss Tessmacher v. Tara Brooke retains when she turns on Tara, because she learned she can't beat Tara cleanly. Winner: Miss Tess
-X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sonjay Dutt v. Zema Ion Dutt has the curse of Ring Ka King. I mean, Ion might too, but not as much so. Winner: Zema Ion
-BFG SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Samoa Joe v. Jeff Hardy I'm going to place my bet on Jeff Hardy going anti-christ again as per his Bound For Glory tradition. Winner: Jeff Hardy
-BFG SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Bully Ray v. "Cowboy" James Storm Bully Ray eliminates Storm for the second year in a row thanks to some help from the other half of Abs and Calves, Bobby Roode. Winner: Bully Ray
-BFG SERIES FINALS: ??? v. ??? Jeff Hardy overcomes Bully Ray in preperation for his heel turn next month. Winner: Jeff Hardy
-AUSTIN ARIES fights The Arm Breaker Aries dominates the brawl before a massive Aces and Eights run in that dominates him. I expect this to be earlier in the evening. Winner: Not a match, so no official winner

-TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Christopher Daniels & Kazarian v. AJ Styles & Kurt Angle I kinda wish this was a rematch with Hernandez/Chavo. Still, it will be awesome. I expect this to be the blowoff to the AJ/Daniels feud, but hopefully it isn't the end of the WTTCotW. WINNERS: AJ/Angle
-Rob Van Dam v. Magnus RVD did the job out of the BFG series, I expect him to get his win back. WINNER: RVD
-TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Miss Tessmacher v. Tara They are in love with Tessmacher for some reason. WINNER: Tess
-X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sonjay Dutt v. Zema Ion All they give a crap about the X-Division is using it to put over Sorenson with the sympathy push. Ion sucks, but he keeps it. WINNER: Ion
-BFG SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Samoa Joe v. Jeff Hardy Joe gets the win back WINNER: Joe
-BFG SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Bully Ray v. "Cowboy" James Storm I wish Bully would win this. Roode Vs Storm is the past. I don't wanna see that match as the BFG main even. Frankly, both guys have bored the hell out of me since they went solo. Bully has become the best heel in TNA and made himself a credible singles star. Still, I think they'll stick with it. WINNER: Storm
-BFG SERIES FINALS: Samoa Joe v. "Cowboy" James Storm WINNER: Joe
-AUSTIN ARIES v. ??? I think "Arm Breaker" is just a lackey. I'm guessing it is Luke Gallows. They really need to give us some sort of reveal before this become Glacier 2012. Winner: Aries

Daniels and Kazarian retain.
Van Dam over Magnus but Magnus injures RVD post-match.
Tessmacher over Tara. Tessmacher is TNA's Kelly Kelly.
Zema Ion over Sonjay Dutt. Nice to know they've remembered they have an X-Division.
Hardy over Joe. Attack by Magnus to screw Joe out of the win as the former Gladiator will be busy tonight.
James Storm over Bully Ray. Storm is way too over right now. His strong fan reaction mixes with Hardy's strong reaction to end the series strong.
James Storm over Jeff Hardy. This BFG series has been primarily built around Storm ascending to the Championship since the Battle Royale, I also have the slightest sensation Aries, while being awesome as champion, is being used as a placeholder for Storm so the rivalry between Roode and Storm can continue. So what happens with Aries?
Aries vs. Armbreaker/Aces & Eights/ <---------This at the PPV and probably this for the next few months after he drops the belt to Storm in another month and has to sit through "Sports Entertainment" Purgatory.

I don’t believe they will reveal who is behind the Aces and Eights until Bound for Glory which makes sense.
I see no reason for Magnus not to go over RVD, but since RVD has jobbed a bunch lately I see him going over Magnus since I expect most of the heels to win their matches tonight. The match will likely be okay because RVD only mails it in half as much when he wins as when he loses. He is a lot like Lex Luger was at the end of his career in that he competely mailed it in when he booked booked to lose and gave a half hearted effort when he was booked to win.
Kaz and Daniels are the most entertaining acts on the show on a weekly basis and should hold onto them over Styles and Angle. I wouldn’t expect this match to top their awesome match at Slamiversary because Angle is badly injured and likely won’t do much in this match. Kaz and Daniels go on to feud with Chavo and Hernandez while Styles moves on to a feud with Angle or the Aces and Eights.
Dutt Vs Ion should be a excellent match it’s too bad that they got no build to the match at all. TNA should have gotten them on the show last week and pushed back the Snow-Ryan stuff a week.I wish they’d do something with the X division, but I’ve said that for years now. I wonder what the hell happened to Kenny King? From rubbing elbows with Aries to off the show for a month.
I expect Aries to get the better of the arm breaker revealing him as Luke Gallows who says he’s just a foot soldier and the leader will be revealed at BFG.
I really have no clue in who will win the BFG series and I think one day Joe will win then the next minute Bully or Storm with Hardy being almost an afterthought. I will go with Bully Ray going over Storm for the second year in a row when Roode interferes and costs him the match setting up Roode Vs Storm at BFG. I see Joe going over Hardy by choking him out and then I see Bully going over Joe thanks to Joe.
All in all, this should be a very strong card, but since they’re going against Peyton’s Manning’s first regular season game in twenty months I expect this PPV to draw even less buys than they usually do. TNA has done a great job turning Impact into a really good show their PPV build by only announcing matches days ahead leaves a lot to be desired. That said, they have created intrigue with who will win the BFG series and who is behind the Aces and Eights with us all praying it’s not Jarrett or Bischoff. I really am afraid we’ll see something convoluted like Bischoff as the leader and Hardy or Aries turning heel and then I remember Russo is no longer around and hope the TNA bookers don’t pull a Russo with this story line.
