Like the article said, it's the fourth no-no of the season and probably the most unusual one of them all as well. The only game I could compare it to is when the Astros had that no-hitter with several pitchers against the Yankees several years ago. Congrats to Seattle. And don't let the haters say otherwise; Gordon was out. Like the Met no-no last week, it still counts.

I've definitely never seen this many disputable no-hitters in one season before.

Umpires might be living in fear of repeating Armando Galarraga; and based on the brutal media attack Jim Joyce had to live through afterwards, can anyone really blame them?

I should hope not. The Jim Joyce call would have been horrendous in any kind of situation. The two calls in question this year are just your typical crappy call that usually get considered part of the game. They just stand out more in a no-no.
