We went seven games without starting a thread, mostly because these games have been unremarkable, aside from the Rose injury and the Durant game-winner.

And then...well...the Clippers happened.

I never thought I would say that.

J.A. Adande said it best:
@jadande
that was the most UN-Clipper thing ever

Chris Paul just earned every bit of his paycheck tonight. Unbelievable!

Discussion now open! I know StingArmy's dying to talk about his Hawks' big win tonight, especially since 99% of us have written them off yet again.

Someone stated the Celtics could beat the Heat. If the Celtics could actually beat the Hawks which signs point to probably not. Rondo has to be out at leaast 2-3 games anything else is a joke. This is the Heat's year.

Sigh. Even in an allegedly unpredictable lockout season, it'll still end up with Heat/Lakers in the final, isn't it?

My favoritist thing in the world http://h9.abload.de/img/untitled-1l7y7l.gif

Two of the better ones I've heard

Coach told me to attack the glass

... and that was the strongest move Amare made all night.

Happy trails to the Orlando Magic.

I'm hoping this isn't the end of Stan Van Gundy. If the guys running the Magic think firing him is the solution, there's going to be a lot of egg on their faces when Howard winds up leaving anyway. And we know he is!

Happy trails to the Knicks. I'd say they're on the right track, but if they bring Isiah back, I'll rescind that entire statement.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this after last night's Lakers/Nuggets game.

ekedolphin nailed this one. Javale McGee has been damn good in this series.

The 76ers tried to yet again prove why they are the franchise that has mastered the 3-1 series collapse historically, but the Bulls in the last 15 seconds made enough moronic, and I might be way to kind with that word, decisions to give the game back to the 76ers.
Kevin Garnett might have found the fountain of youth. For a guy who looked washed up the first 6 weeks of the season, he has become dominant down the stretch.
