What a nice little story!  It seems like the writer is finally getting into the rhythm of the old school 8 page back-up story.

I bet it'll be pretty jarring to read in the monthly floppy though*.  Maybe they'll do some corrections with the timescale?

*Is that still the plan? Monthly reprints compiling the digital issues?

It still amazes me with all the time they have, they still get continuity errors like GA and Chloe still stuck in Metropolis. Just so Smallville. I am going with Zod or Brainiac just for them to draw someone who was on the show. If not them, than Sinestro with a hoodie. Jesus Christ, Clark, way to curse your friend on the way out. Why not tell just come out and call him Sloppy Seconds.

A quick check of the new www.dccomics.com indicates that the first three issues of Smallville Season 11 will be available in actual printed comic book form on May 2nd for $3.99. It's listed at 48 pages so there should be some extra material.

ROFL. That would be very Smallville yes.

I wasn't sold after the first part, but #2 and #3 sucked me in.
The interaction between Lois and Clark at home was spot on, and the action was good too.

I will think about picking up the printed version, though that might mean I won't continue with the digital.

On a side note, I hadn't tried the DC app (for my Android) until Smallville came out. While it looks and works the same as the Marvel one (both based on comixology's?) I really like that I could read the stuff I downloaded without being online with my phone. This is one of the reasons I hardly use the Marvel app.
