Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new record for futility!

Knicks 104, Bobcats 84

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Bobcats couldn't even beat a Knicks team resting most of its starters, finishing with the worst winning percentage in NBA history after a 104-84 loss on Thursday night.

The funniest coincidence is Michael Jordan's team finishing with a 23-game losing streak. Who says the basketball gods don't have a sense of humor?

I hope these guys come out with the #2 pick. Anthony Davis is such a talent and he deserves better than to rot in Charlotte.

It's only fitting that Jordan be part of the greatest and worst teams in NBA history.

That's a debatable statement.

One, I don't think the man finds it fitting in the least. Two, Jordan's role with the '96 Bulls was far more prominent than with the '12 Charlotte Bobcats.

I would argue Jordan was as if not more influential in this team than being a player since he was the one who actually got the players. He was lucky to get Pippen and Phil Jackson. Also, the 80s Lakers or one of the Bill Russel's Celtic teams is better than any of Jordan's team. Wins and loses be damned.

What's the opposite of the old internet standard of posting "THIS" when you are in complete agreement with something a previous poster said? Something to denote that you think the poster could not possibly be more wrong? I'll go with...

THAT
