DAVID WALLACE is a $20-millionaire because the US Military bought the patent for SUCK IT!

Best episode of the season just for that.

That was an unexpected incredible moment. That, Kevin wanting to ward off being raped with jujitsu and Robert California's Secretary-esque knowledge of where the erotic clubs around Scranton are.

Kevin continues to be THE reason to watch this show. Too dumb to know he was the Office Dumb Guy sums him up in a nutshell.

I'm glad Wallace had a happy ending but I saved Best Friends Forever on the DVR for a day just so I could watch four good NBC comedies on Thursday.

Holy Crap is Nellie killing this show. I don't know a lot of Brits, but I'm pretty sure they know what tacos are.

Micheal didnt know that "the test were negative" is a good thing in the episode where Kevin might have had cancer. Everyone has the not smart thing

No Kelly?

I enjoyed it, but it seems like once an episode Andy will do something and I think- that's a Michael Scott thing to do. Michael would have taken all the dogs and made the awkward "bitch" joke as well.

I'm not sure what they can do for a whole other season at this point though.

The 30 Rock Live show was solid comedy.

I saw Billy Joel and Elton John together in concert nine years ago. It was a five hour show with no intermission since together they had, like, five decades of material, and since one would go in the back for an hour and let the other perform and then switch off there was no opportunity to take a break.

Midway through the show, Elton decided to sing some of his new stuff for a bit. Everyone...EVERYONE immediately headed to the bathroom.

Tonight's Office, like many recently, was Elton's new stuff. I went to the can and then sat and waited for Parks and Rec to start. Everything after the title sequence could have been cut off without hurting the quality of the episode.

Bleh.

I want to believe in NBC's new management team but Greenblatt buried the ladies and won't promote them. It's not the greatest thing I've ever seen but it definitely belongs in the Thursday night sphere of influence, far more than The Office or Up All Night.

And yet he was voice of reason & intelligence in this ep. Nellie may be the office dumb guy with her trying to eat a taco (her best work on the show so far).

The funny thing is, I thought that last week's episode, of all things, would have made a pretty good series finale. Andy gets fed up and essentially walks out of the office, realizing that the place is a toxic, unprofessional environment. In the process, he tells off his father and shores up his relationship with Erin. That felt like a really good resolution to me. This week, we come in and ruin all of that. Andy's actually miserable that he doesn't have a terrible job at a small office that sells obsolete products. So miserable, in fact, that he's having a nervous breakdown (although Ryan calling him on that was pretty great). This episode was more disappointing than anything else.

Stanley's knowing smile made that scene for me.

Yeah, I saw the taco joke as more of a "general cultural ignorance" thing than anything to do with her Britishness specifically. Nellie's grown on me, and it's the only time I've ever really enjoyed Catherine Tate in anything.

A British friend of mine once came to visit me and she was excited to try tacos only she pronounced it "tay-kos" so I guess she mostly knew?

I'm a big Jessica St. Clair fan from Comedy Bang Bang. This being a TV show on a TV network, I don't know if it has any kind of future, but it seems like the seed of a really funny show is there that could sprout pretty quickly, even more than Happy Endings was at this stage in basically the same situation last year. Just let these women keep yelling at each other.

Yeah, I also hate what they did with Andy in this episode. The entire episode was flat, except for that one line from Kevin about the office having no "dumb guy." I died.
