You can neither look nor touch. Meltzer reports the Bellas contracts are expiring and they are choosing not to sign a new deal.

This is not quite as sad as Maryse, but the Bellas were awesome, I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. I saw their first match. Well, Brie's. Nikki was under the ring.

Brie Bella is also dating Daniel Bryan. So now he loses that too. That storyline from last year was a shoot! Except the Gail Kim part. And everything.

I presume that they tire of the touring. They have a unique look in wrestling (brunettes) and the obvious gimmick.

I think the WWE does a disservice by asking all their onscreen people to be ring-active. Not everyone can do it nor should they have to. The classic valets of the '80s rarely got in the ring, but they provided a stronger gimmick/angle for their wrestlers.

Again, I presume much.

I bet Sheamus would be beloved by the entire WWE Universe instead of hated by the entire WWE Universe if, just once, they'd had him say "Bella" like he says "fella" to Brie or Nikki.

Pretty much all their current drawing and crowd response problems are probably due to them failing to make that happen.

Who will escort guest hosts to the ring? The Bella's are frickin useless so I challenge you all.

I will say this about them. They work almost every Raw and several Superstars. I think they've been on TV more than Beth Phoenix which is saying something.

I'm sure if you just had them dress in glittery matching dresses with Del Rio and put them in his entourage with Ricardo, everyone would win in the end. Maybe the reason I feel so apathetic towards them has always because of their inconsistent and undeveloped heel/face polarities. Either make them both heels/faces and stick with it, or take time to explain why one twin is honest and the other is not.

Now that I think about it, I believe NXT season 3 was where their dueling personalities started to emerge. It was interesting then forgotten after they caught Daniel Bryan with Gail Kim.

The Bellas are too liked by the powers that be to get rid of them. Someone has a hot twin fixation, and they don't look or sound like schmucks on my screen.

Shapiro, you just lost Gryffendor 10 points for another Meltzer bad news scare.

As with anything from PWI, take it with a grain of salt. But the latest says The Bellas are done:

WWE sources are now confirming the Bellas are done with the company once their deals expire on 4/30. They have been with the company since signing developmental deals in 2007.

Someone should change his last name to fit the gimmick. I vote John since Shapiro is easier to say and spell.

I'll always smile when I think of the payoff to the Bellas/Bryan. No a vegan is someone who doesn't eat meat!

I have no problem changing my surname to Shapyro.

April 30th? TOO SOON. Brie has 20 days to finally cash in that mistletoe she won at Super Smackdown Christmas and get that kiss from any WWE Superstar. May I suggest Brock Lesnar or Lord Tensai?

I have assumed it was 'Or-key-ola' but I can also see it as 'Or-kwee-ola'. I've also thought it as 'John Coca-Cola' in my head numerous times.

I won't miss them. Eye-candy is eye-candy and being twins doesn't do anything for me. The Divas are all rather interchangeable to me anyways. I can barely tell most of them apart.

I've heard it all. You'll never be able to top the dogged creativity of my friends.

On the plus side of the Bellas probable imminent departure, they'll never get their comeuppance for how they sent pregnant Kharma packing. You hear me?! No comeuppance!!

This particular situation is a bit of a conundrum for me.
On one hand, I am much more a fan of wrestling ability and in ring action than anything else. I really like women's wrestling in general because I see them as working harder to be not only better wrestlers but to develop their depth of character. I'd rather watch a good wrestling match any day over soap-operatic sports entertainment. That being said, I'm not too happy with WWE in general and the treatment of the Divas in particular. I'd really like to see the Divas given ring time along with compelling story-lines & characters. I'd also like the marketing department to utilize the Divas as a money drawing asset. Of course knowing the way WWE works, the Divas will never be taken seriously.
So I might get lambasted for saying this, but I actually like the Bellas. One, yes, I find them attractive. Two, I think that for girls who didn't come from a wrestling background, they (Especially Nikki) have become decent wrestlers as far as Divas Go. No I don't think they could hang with Shimmer level talent shooting on them, but they can work a competent WWE match. And I really like their tag team matches. While their promo cutting abilities are admittedly weak, they do have the ability to express character passively through facial expressions and body language. Third, they're from San Diego, so my hometown bias clouds my judgement in making me think they're kind of cool people.
Given all that, I want them to stay employed and on my TV because I enjoy their presence. But if they aren't happy with the way they're being used (or not as the case really is) then they should go. If that opens the door to giving other Divas more air-time or to bring in some FCW Divas that is a bonus. I'd personally like to see Paige (Britani Knight) come up and maybe Sofia (Ivelisse) or Raquel ( Shaul Guerrero).
None of us will really know what's going on until we hear they've actually left, but whatever happens I hope the best for them.

20 days is WAY TOO SOON! If there's a twin fight already booked with John and Justin, maybe I can be the midget mascot or something waving a flag.

I'm gonna miss The Bellas. I liked them. They worked hard to get better in the ring, and they're as good as any current Divas (maybe the best?) at promos and backstage segments. The WWE doesn't take women's wrestling seriously though, so the division is what it is and most likely won't improve for quite some time. Losing them definitely hurts it though.

The WWE has run through every conceivable storyline with the Bellas, so it is time to go. They have been partners and rivals, and heels and faces so much that Lex Luger would encourage them to pick a damn side.

What they need to do is go to TNA, and help Joe Park Esq. find Abyss. Brie could try to help Joe, and we can learn later that Nikki has found Abyss. Then you have the split screen of all four people for the tearful double reunion.

Boom.

Also, Kelly Kelly is blonde and skinny, Eve is tall and brunette, Alicia Fox is skinny and black, Beth Phoenix is blonde and muscular, AJ is little and brunette, and Natalya farts a lot. It ain't hard telling them apart.
