While not their strongest gimmick episode, this was pretty great. I particularly liked Pierce's doomsday weapon, the description of the battlefield surrounding East Hall, and Jeff's reaction to the camera crew at the beginning. Camera crews really always do lead to trouble at Greendale.

Thank goodness for this episode. It was so fantastic. Like Tenken347, I loved the description of the East Hall so much I had to pause the episode (it sounded like my favorite scene in BASEketball when the sports guys discuss the different regions of the playoffs). The gags flew so fast that I missed a few of them. New Blanketsburg!
I do have to also say that while last night's 30 Rock was not as good, the joke about "Alexander Windowblinds" made me laugh just as hard as anything on Community.

That was Keith David! He will forever be Goliath from Gargoyles to me, but he also has done a billion other roles. And according to Wiki, yes he was on The Cape. Oh and duh, "On April 1, 2012, David performed the voiceover for the intro to WWE Wrestlemania XXVIII."

I didn't think they'd run the entire episode in the documentary send up, but damn was it funny.
I just feel like none of the characters on the show are the same as they were before the break. Abed is not as awkward, Troy is not as silly, Shirley isn't as uptight, Jeff isn't running the show, Britta, while still being hilarious, isn't the same cliche ridden female, Annie isn't as naive, and Pierce is not as blatantly racist, out of touch and ignorant, and is just being played as senile and stupid.
Don't get me wrong, I still love the show, but they just aren't the same as before.
