I made a giant heart made out of red wool and filled it with TNT. I dropped lava on top of it to burn it up and set the TNT off, exploding it everywhere.

You mean I'm the only one who makes their Valentine's day presents in Minecraft?

I scored big after a trip to Fredrick's of Hollywood. She just had a baby 3 months ago, so I was playing with fire on the size, but everything worked out great.

Just calling back to earlier in the thread and reminding you all that the chocolate is heavily discounted today. You snooze, you lose.

I bought her a one pound bar of chocolate, which blew her mind. While she was distracted by that, I presented her with a FIVE pound bar ("World's Biggest Hershey's Bar") of chocolate.

The GF and I stayed in and cooked for each other.

I made a chocolate sour cream style (neither one of us like NY style) cheesecake with a raspberry coulis and topped with a dark chocolate mousse, all home made.

She made breakfast for dinner and we had a southwestern omelet, sausages, and toast.

We both were very happy.

Where did you get that at? I haven't seen one of those since the late 80's. Always wanted to buy one of those for my wife.

We went to a basketball game. When you get to three kids, any day could be Valentine's Day.

I had others tell me what Valentine's Day was for them, though:

1. Tuesday
2. Singles Appreciation Day (SAD)

Ours was postponed until tonight since we both had stuff going on Tuesday and Wednesday night. It's actually nicer since restaurants won't be crowded or offering those ridiculous prix fixe menus. Who wants to eat an appetizer AND dessert right before heading home for whatever is on the agenda for the rest of Valentine's Evening

I've seen them at a 7-11(yes, really) and at CVS, along with giant peanut butter cups.

Valentines Day was easy, I had purchased tickets to Wicked for xmas and it was this past weekend so we just made a date night of it. Had a great time, fun to see.

Used one of my better ideas just a couple weeks ago for her bday when I grabbed the VHS of our wedding that we hadn't seen in a decade, bought some junk to get it copied onto computer, then bought a 10" digital photo frame that also does video and put it in black and white on a loop with the sound muted. Kinda neat to just have it playing constantly. She loved it and wants to put all our other videos of our son on there to loop through.
