It's a slick alternative to the Wall concept, but it is very creepy how it goes back to when you were born. I haven't dug into it too far yet, but I hope there is a way to quickly and easily limit access to only the last couple of years of posts and messages. Back in 2005 I had no idea how prevalent Facebook would be and didn't really know how to use it properly so there is a lot of weird shit that has been made very easily viewable.

I've had it for a while now. It's very easy to manage. If you click on the button at the top right called "activity log" you can sort through post by post to eliminate what you want. It even keeps track of your comments and likes on other people's statuses, so be prepared to wade through a lot of things.

I enabled timeline on my account several weeks back (I had to for work) and if I am remembering correctly, there is no way to wholesale hide posts older than a certain date. I can't wait to hear the wholesale backlash when people start realizing that. One can only hope that Facebook will respond to whatever complaints may arise, but Mark Zuckerberg isn't exactly pro-privacy.
