If this season is canceled, and the 2012-13 season is jeopardized, could this lockout signify the end of the 65-year-old National Basketball Association? Also it's a lock-out not a strike, so the owners can end it anytime they want to.

It wouldn't die. but I think it's important to point out that IMO NHL fans are much more fanatic per capita than NBA fans.
