In his burgeoning feud with Heath Slater, tweets from Wade Barrett point us to "I Hate You Heath Slater" (shiningwizado.bandcamp.com). I like Heath Slater, & this is awesome!

It's entertaining as hell to watch the guys using social media to get themselves over outside the traditional "what happens on TV" channels. I like it!

This is definitely a reference to someone randomly shouting from the crowd "I hate you Heath Slater!!" months ago...a 'catchphrase' my g/f repeats every time he is on TV.

Holy crap, and the intro is a reference to the Frank Grimes episode of the Simpsons!

(Why is Wade feuding with Heath though? I guess because they broke apart The Corre...Slater stayed heel out of that.)

I do love that the song points out that Slater doesn't even have a guitar.

If Slater brings out an electric guitar for every match and uses it as a weapon, like a 21st-century Honky Tonk Man, I would do a 180 and TOTALLY buy into his One-Man Rock Band persona.

No comradery among heels, which is a nice realistic way to do things. It's kinda like when Sheamus went berserk with a chair last month and ended up bashing Barrett harder than anyone else. Just because they're both heels doesn't mean they can't hate on each other.

That happened during the RAW tapings right after Summerslam last year and it was this guy* (twitter.com) who said it. He's the guy dressed as a clown in the front row at many pay per views, although he wasn't dressed as a clown when he yelled "I HATE YOU, HEATH SLATER! I HATE YOU!"

*I met him at Summerslam Axxess last year.

This definitely works for me, as Heath Slater is easily hateable (did you hear how much Chicago hated him at the MitB PPV?) and should be mocked at every opportunity.

Sooo what is the connection between Slater and the image of Summerslam 92 (Bret/Davey/Diana) shown behind him?

BTW, I also hate Heath Slater.

Hey, THAT guy?! He also did it on Superstars last week! Right before the commercial break! "HEATH SLATER, I HATE YOU!"

I didn't get it at the time, but I mentioned it in the recap.

You know who else hates Heath Slater? The female security guard who accuses him of assaulting her just hours after WrestleMania 27 ended. (wsbtv.com)

Gotta love this company. "A WWE spokesman told Jones by phone that Oliver's claims are against Slater individually and have nothing to do with the WWE."

When they do something good, it is because of the good works the superstars do under the glorious leadership of the family McMahon and the example of greatness that the superstars wish to follow.
When they do something bad, hey, the guy is just a 1099. He doesn't work for us, he's an independent contractor. Nothing to see here. But hey, did you hear about another superstar who did this good thing because of the glorious leadership of the family McMahon?

Total bullshit. Or delusional. Whichever.

a) 4-1/2 months after the time of the alleged incident.

b) Suddenly Heath Slater needs a security guard inside the hotel?

c) "she was assigned to protect" ... "was later able to identify her attacker" -- interesting job assignment: Watch this unnamed guy.

d) Not much of a security person who doesn't have clue 1 to avoid/defend a choke hold.

e) “begging me to go to his room with him,” Begging, with choke hold? Really?

f) I'm pretty sure Heath could pull a perfectly willing, attractive groupiette, if he were so inclined.

g) "told her she was pretty" -- no additional comment needed.

Your opinion.

She says her company said they would handle it and they didn't. I hate to break it to you, but this kind of thing happens sometimes. I'm sure pulling Wrestlemania was a huge assignment for this security firm and they probably don't want to pursue this in a public way regardless of it's credibility.

I'm sure there are fans all over the hotels the wrestlers stay at during 'Mania week. This doesn't strike me as the least bit absurd.

It's not like Heath Slater is someone most normal people would recognize on the street. She tells her employer one of the wrestlers attacked her. They ask who? She doesn't remember his name. They go through some pictures. She says "that guy". Is this utterly unbelievable?

I've worked security jobs, and believe me, they pay very little money and they don't exactly demand proof that you're a third degree black belt, nor do most of them provide any self-defense training whatsoever. I've worked with many females in this field and truly cannot imagine any of them fighting off a two-hundred pound pro athlete if it came to it.

Irrelevant to this accusation. Tiger Woods could have pulled attractive groupiettes too, and settled (mostly) for women that looked like before ads for dental implant surgery. Not that Tiger was accused of anything this bad, but there's no accounting for taste. If Heath Slater is the kind of guy who would force himself on a woman, you can probably do your own research, but here's a spoiler: these men don't only force themselves on hotties.

Aside from the subjectivity of whether you find this woman attractive, again, it has been established in empirical studies ad naseum that women aren't necessarily assaulted on the basis of their physical attractiveness. The attackers look for easy targets

Let me bookend all this by saying that I really enjoy your posts for the most part, Emma, which is why I'm so surprised at your incredibly specious reasoning on why this must be an absurd false claim by a delusional ugly woman. If it turns out to be false, it probably won't be for any of the reasons you listed i.e. point G) she's fat and point F) he could do better. I'm not saying it is true, but your defense seems to come from a fangirl perspective and you lost serious credibility when you resorted to personal attacks on the accuser. I say, this is an ongoing investigation and if the police thought it was silly they would've picked it apart before it even got to this point.

So all I'm suggesting is let's wait until some facts come out.

Co-sign with Hogan. I would suggest we take off our Pro-WWE glasses off and actually wait to see what the facts state.

HMD: FYI, I have an extremely poor tolerance for people who cry wolf, exaggerate &/or inflate this kind of accusation, because it completely waters down the seriousness when this kind of shit really happens in the real world.

Which specific "celebrity" we're talking about is incidental.

I agree on crying wolf. It's a terrible thing to accuse someone of. I think the woman seems genuinely emotional in her description, but that's just my impression. I just don't feel the information we have right tells us enough to go on either way.

Hope I didn't come on too strong.

Love how you attack the hotties Tiger banged (guess their knees were too sharp for you, huh?) then get at Emma for mocking the attractiveness of someone else. The Tiger analogy makes no sense, it's more like Kobe.

You're right though in that looks have little/nothing to do with it. Rape isn't actually about sex, it's about power. The rest of your post is quite sound.
