I'm kinda in the middle about it. It sounds like odd casting to me, but he can be dramatic when it's called for. I was one of the few people who actually liked Becker.
On a related note, people who watch the show should write the articles about it. This paragraph had me scratching my head.
Danson will play the new supervisor for the Las Vegas CSI team. It's the position originally held by William Petersen and then filled by Laurence Fishburne, who had been on the show since its 2008-09 season.
Um, no. Willows took over for Grissom, and Dr. Langston was a rookie. Fishburne is a big name actor and his character gets a bit more screentime but in no way is the Doc the supervisor for the shift.

If they really want to win audiences back, they need to settle down the writing team and do more mainstream stories. This show has been really out there the past couple of seasons. | StaggerLee

He's been in pretty much GREAT things since Cheers, and the older he gets, the more I like his characters. That being said, I've sat through exactly zero entire episodes of CSI. Just can't get into it. But, good luck. | CRZ

EDIT: I agree about Danson being great on "Damages," by the way - I would catch it here and there as Kim watches it (and I probably SHOULD, but...) and actually pretty much everybody I've ever seen on that show has been great...especially Darrell Hammond.
