John Cena vs. R-Truth, WWE Championship Match: Cena wins, but hopefully Truth looks good and continues with his entertaining heel character. I don't know if the feud continues, but I think it has the legs to do so.

Randy Orton vs. Christian, World Heavyweight Championship Match: Orton wins, but I don't know what Christian and his newly-heel character gain by that result. But I don't think they switch it back to him here either. Maybe some sort of screwy finish?

Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler, United States Championship Match: I thought Ziggler throwing Vickie under the bus could plant the seeds for a break-up. Wouldn't be surprised to see Kofi win here and either Dolph dump Vickie or the other way around.

Wade Barrett vs. Ezekiel Jackson, Intercontinental Championship Match: This is the title to change hands. No Corre, No Barrett win.

Alex Riley vs. The Miz: Tough one. Riley needs the win to legitimize him since he's done so little winning. But it would be a far fall for Miz to lose. I'll say Miz wins, but not in a way that Riley loses a ton of heat. Maybe he even gets it back after the match.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio: Given Punk's big wins lately, it seems like they're setting something up for him. But I'm gonna go Rey here, just because.

Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio: Show wins to get revenge on ADR.

John Cena vs. R-Truth, WWE Championship Match: Truth makes a good showing, but Cena wins clean. Truth goes back to feuding with Morrison.

Randy Orton vs. Christian, World Heavyweight Championship Match: If Christian wins here, the only babyface he'd be able to feud with is Orton. If Orton wins, he can move on to Sheamus, Henry, Barrett, or Khali, all of which would be fairly viable. Orton wins, even though I have a fairly big suspicion that this is where Christian finally wins the big one.

Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler, United States Championship Match: Because these two just haven't fought each other enough in the last 12 months. Kofi retains and hopefully both guys move on to someone else, ANYONE else!

Wade Barrett vs. Ezekiel Jackson, Intercontinental Championship Match: The Corre breakup is a red herring. Corre guys interfere for the DQ, because clean finishes aren't allowed in this feud.

Alex Riley vs. The Miz: Miz squashes Riley like a bug.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio: After tonight, Punk's still undefeated in one-on-one matches with Cena. If that's not setting up for a title feud, I don't know what is. Punk wins.

Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio: Del Rio wins by DQ when Show tears him a new one.

Cena wins, but Truth looks good in the loss.
I say Christian wins by DQ or countout so no title for Christian.
Kingston retains.
Jackson wins the IC title.
Miz cheats to win after nearly getting his ass handed to him by Riley.
Punks over Mysterio.
Show beats ADR.

Cena over Truth in another typical SuperCena match while half the audience is cheering for Truth. Truth gets another shot, but loses in a suspicious way to increase his conspiracy nature. Hopefully the fact that we have a black heel going into the PPV while having a Black President at a PPV called Capitol Punishment while making fun of said President is just a coincidence.

Orton over Christian. Orton feuds with the mosters for the summer, yawn.

Ziggler over Kofi. Ziggs without Vickie would be more interesting, but the teased tension will lead to nothing.

ADR over Big Show. Sets up ADR to move towards Cena for SummerSlam as well as Show's excuse for not winning is being injured.

Barret over Jackson. Again, the Nexus tension is just a tease plus Barret can do more in the midcard right now then Jackson can.

Rey over Punk. Rey wins these matches most of the time and I don't know why. I love Rey, but I think I'd rather see him take some time off then Punk.

Miz and A-Ri go to a no contest. A win by either guy right now hurts the other plus its a good way to keep the feud going to give A-Ri some wins over somebody.

According to the verdict established in the case of Virgil v. T. DiBiase in 1990, Alex Riley (known as "A-Ry") will defeat The Miz (known as "Miz") on Sunday at Capitol Punishment. Perhaps not coincidentally, Rowdy Roddy Piper was in Virgil's corner in 1990 and as of last night, Mr. Piper interjected himself in the case of Miz vs. A-Ry. However, Piper is not advertised to be at Capitol Punishment; it was Piper's mentorship and encouragement that propelled Virgil to defeat his owner T. DiBiase in 1990. Forthwith, I conclude without the experience of Roddy Piper in his corner, A-Ry will succumb to Miz's underhanded tactics.

I think the out in the Christian/Orton match will be Sheamus accidentally kicking Christian. Would play into the last few weeks of Smackdown angles and gives Christian more material without beating him clean in his first match after turning.

Cena vs R-Truth. R-Truth wins but doesn't get the belt keeping the conspiracy angle.

Orton vs Christian - this one is a pick em but I'm going with Christian winning

Kofi vs Dolph - Dolph wins as he's been getting more camera time

Wade vs Big Zeke - Wade retains

Alex Riley vs the Miz - double DQ is the right call here as this feud can't possibly end here

CM Punk vs Mysterio - CM Punk is being built up again, Punk wins as cleanly as a heel can win

Big Show vs Del Rio - The only reason for this match is to help put Del Rio over. If Big Show wins clean, it kills Del Rio's push, so Del Rio wins via a screwjob win.

Unannounced women's match - Kelly Kelly vs one or both of the Bella twins - does anyone care?????

Dark match will be Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger - with Swagger winning but somehow Bourne gets to hit the shooting star press

Cena vs R-Truth. I think Cena should win and that this is like Undertaker vs Stone Cold at "IYH: A Cold Day In Hell" where you have a developing star against the established champion and the challenger puts on a good showing in a main event to build him up some more. I could see R-Truth winning in a reactionary move, but I kinda want them to hold off and not hotshot him.

Orton vs Christian - Sort of the same thing here. It's a bit early for Christian to win it right back, and as was pointed out, Orton has more opponents. If Christian wins, I hope it's a Stone Cold at WMX7 scenario where he cheats the living crap out of the win because he's that desperate to have it back.

Kofi vs Dolph - Dolph.

Wade vs Big Zeke - Wade.

Alex Riley vs the Miz - Miz.

CM Punk vs Mysterio - CM Punk.

Big Show vs Del Rio - Del Rio.

John Cena- Way too many Little Jimmies in creative. Cena's entrance thingee below the tron may look all "confederacy-y" but those odds are nothing to Cena.

Randy Orton

Kofi Kingston

Ezekiel Jackson

The Miz but he'll have to resort to nasty underhandedness

John Cena - of course!

Randy Orton - of course! (But Christian will win MitB next month or whenever the PPV is and then "screw" Orton big time)

The Miz - After the I quit-debacle last month Miz can't afford any big losses anytime soon, especially not against his former sidekick. But Riley will look strong on Sunday nonetheless.

Ziggler - I just can't stand Kofi and Ziggler is THE guy to push right now (together with Miz and Truth).

Barrett - I just can't stand Zeke.

Alberto - Show doesn't need the win. Alberto does.

Punk - Then will feud with Cena, finally.

What about Sin Cara/Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes/Ted DiBiasi?

I've got a probably totally wrong feeling that they're angling to turn Sheamus face, which would be weird but would also give Christian someone to work with once the Orton thing is over. Stranger things have happened.

Hrm. Orton vs. Christian...not sure, because of the concussion story. Ok, let's just go with Christian.

John Cena vs. R-Truth, WWE Championship Match: Cena retains; R-Truth beats the crap out of him afterwards; R-Truth wins the rematch at MITB for the belt.

Randy Orton vs. Christian, World Heavyweight Championship Match: Christian wins the title after dropping Orton on his head many, many times, taking full advantage of the fact that he's got a concussion. When Orton comes back, he'll probably retaliate by punting Christian in the head.

Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler, United States Championship Match: God, they're having this match again? Um, Kofi. Don't care, really.

Wade Barrett vs. Ezekiel Jackson, Intercontinental Championship Match: Barrett retains when Jackson gets himself disqualified.

Alex Riley vs. The Miz: Miz cheats to win and promptly gets the hell out of Dodge.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio: Punk wins; he'll be next in line to feud with Cena after Cena's done with R-Truth.

Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio: Show.

Also: This should be the official theme of Capitol Punishment.
