Is coming out of retirement.(espn.com) I imagine there's a place for him on some team, most likely as a second or third option, but how willing is he to accept that? He seems to have a bit of an ego to say the least.

Arizona, Buffalo, Cincy, maybe Detroit, and Washington seem to be the most likely to me. Not exactly the best prospects for a veteran returning to win that elusive ring.

Can it really be a comeback if there's no league to play for?

If guys like Shawn Alexander and Larry Johnson, who I'd imagine are roughly the same age, can't find a place to play in the league, what makes Tiki think he'll fare any better?

So if he falls on his face (and I'm pretty sure he will), does he have the option to go back to the NFL Network?

On the Ravens, with McClain becoming our FB, and McGahee on his way out, Barber could back up Ray Rice.

I'd believe in a Herschel Walker comeback before I believed in a Tiki comeback.

I smell a new VH-1 show a brewing over this and it smells awful

(Yes, I'm still bitter over his 2003 fantasy season where he got me 6 fumbles and only 2 TDs and I swore I'd never draft him again only to have him rebound for the 2004 champ of our league.)

He'll play in the UFL.

Yes, I'm fully aware that the UFL looks to be circling the bowl.

Shaun is 33, Larry is (surprisingly, to me at least) 31, and Tiki will be 36 or older by the time the next season starts. Maybe he'll have some of that Ricky-Williams-I-didn't-play-for-a-few-years-so-I-can-last-in-this-league-a-couple-years-longer-than-most-RBs-can magic, but 36 is still 36. He'd be lucky to last two seasons.

I don't know whether to call Tiki desperate or delirious in this comeback. He either has an insanely big ego to think he can be the same player he was 4 years ago or his career really got ruined by the intern scandal and the fact he sucks on TV. No matter what, I just hope he gets to play against the Giants just so that they can level him to shit. I'm so tired of him talking crap about the team that actually improved and won a championship the first year without him.

I am fairly sure IF he can still run, he'd be a good fit in New England. They don't run the ball down people's throats, they spread the ball around, so he wouldn't get beat to hell with too many touches.

But, it's not his ego, it's his alimony/child support that is bringing him back to the game.

Bingo. In April 2010, he left his wife of 11 years while she was EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT, the asshole, and shacked up with a 23-year-old former NBC intern. NBC terminated his $300,000 contract under its morals clause, and by June, it was reported that Barber was broke and unable to pay his divorce settlement.

What is it, by the way, with professional athletes and their horrible management of the millions of dollars they make in their careers?! I know it's not everyone, but it seems to be far too frequent.
