Grant Morrison's All-Star Superman comics are pretty great but I thought this animated adaptation was only okay. I wasn't Super impressed with the movie overall, though I dug the ending.

Review with SPOILERS:

My question is: Will DC Animation adapt Frank Miller and Jim Lee's All-Star Batman and Robin? THAT would be hilarious.

Finally got around to this and went in without reading the book first. It's probably the most satisfying Superman story I've ever read. The cliche "If you've ever seen one..." is thrown around too much, but it really does apply. If you only watch one Superman story in your life, let it be this one. It covers the mythos nicely, it keeps everyone in character, it's genuinely enjoyable, and it has a great ending that ties everyone's story up nicely.

An adaptation of All-Star Batman & Robin WOULD be hilarious...assuming Frank Miller ever gets around to finishing it first.
