| #1 Posted on 12.12.10 2047.53 Reposted on: 12.12.17 2048.06 | I actually didn't expect another episode of this show to be thread-worthy for a good while, with the Masters of Evil episode already under their belts. But then they went and introduced the animated version of Captain Marvel to the world.
This episode is great fan service to those that are familiar with Mar-Vell's background and does a great job of introducing him to those that aren't. To sum up, they go with the classic origin of Mar-Vell working on Earth as a Kree spy, having to reveal himself in order to stop a rogue Kree Sentry. The seeds seem to be planted for the Kree-Skrull War, which seems MUCH more interesting than anything involving the Masters of Evil.
A great episode for those wanting to see Mar-Vell, the birth of Ms. Marvel, and the potential for some awesome cosmic tales to come out of this show.
Thumbs up for everything, except Mar-Vell's god-awful costume. I realize it's his original gear, but they had to have changed that for a reason. Yeesh! Promote this thread! | | AWArulz

I thought it was based more on the Ultimate Marvel version of the character, myself. | Tenken347

At this point, if we don't get Thanos, I'm going to be very, very disappointed. And when we do get Thanos, I'm going to be very, very excited. | Scottyflamingo

You can catch Thanos on Superhero Squad. :)
Wasn't a huge fan of this ep cause I hate cosmic stuff.
Wish they'd spend some more time on the heroes development. I'd like to see Thor and Cap struggling to fit in, Hulk and Banner going at it in his head, and Tony being a jerk (guess we can't get the boozing on a kid's show). | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
