A bad one!
A bad movie can make me laugh harder than some "good" comedies.
Want an example? Tommy Wiseau's "The Room". Words cannot do this movie justice but if you search YouTube you'll find plenty of clips. Wiseau wrote, directed, and "stars" in the movie and oh my god, he is possibly the worst actor I've ever seen in any movie. If you're having a bad day, watch this movie and I gurantee it will improve your spirits. Promote this thread! | | SKLOKAZOID

Man, you weren't kidding. I had never heard of the movie before I saw this thread, and have been studying all day for final exams and needed a break, so I did a YouTube search, watched the trailer, and read several reviews and an interview with Tommy Wiseau - I need to see this. The WikiPedia entry on the movie is great, too.
"IFC.com described Wiseau's speaking voice in the film as 'Borat trying to do an impression of Christopher Walken playing a mental patient.' "

I'm in the minority. I was SO BORED watching it. I made it about 30 mins in before I changed the channel (it was on Adult Swim of all places). Boring, unfunny, and I just don't see what is so cultish "it's so bad it's good." It's so bad that it's AWEFUL. | PaulKTF

It's the bad acting and writing comboned with Tommy's awful English that makes it work so well as a comedy for me. | PaulKTF

You ain't kidding about Manos. I got about five minutes into the thing before I pulled the DVD out of the player and threw it at the wall. I didn't try watching it again for a year after that, and I barely made it through with my sanity intact.

I actually watched this for the first time this past weekend on cable (Encore, I think). Awesome. I feel so bad for Brandon Lee, because he was really a talented actor but this movie makes him deliver the crappiest lines I've seen in an action movie. The main spotlight, however, is on Dolph Lundgren and his awesome costume at the film's climax. The dude gets a bullet smack in the chest and goes on to have a swordfight with hardly any blood on him and suffering no ill effects at all.

Well, yeah. The first five minutes (and a good chunk afterward) is just a constant driving scene. I love how the MST3K guys kill that time saying "Manos, The Hands of Fate" with as many different inflections and emphases as they can come up with. | Reverend J Shaft

Speaking of bad Dolph Lundgren films (I know - is there any other kind?), I just read that he has signed on to a Uwe Boll project called In The Name Of The King 2 where he plays "a cop... [that] gets attacked by ninjas in his house and fell with the ninjas into a vortex back in time." Lundgren said "It’s a role I just wanted to play. It’s fun to exercise my acting chops once in a while. I’ve got to get ready for ‘Expendables 2′.”
