The show has had good success when it enters someone's home, and this time the gang is off to Gabe's apartment for a Glee-watching party. Every once in a while, we find Kelly in her element. This is her element, even though she can't decide if she loves the show or hates it. I don't remember seeing Toby or Stanley anywhere, but the others were accounted for.

Several laugh-out-loud moments in this one for me, the first being, "I have a loaded gun in my desk at work, and if I start acting like that weeny Gabe I want you to shoot me in the groin like 100 times until I'm dead."
"You have a gun at work?"

The entire Dwight/Jim exchange was gold. Jim is feeding Dwight beer and pizza while Dwight holds Jim's own sleeping baby. Dwight was in heaven. Jim may plan and prank more overall, but Dwight chose this battle wisely.

"Angela is in heat. She will eat your face off."

The ending was very weird and I guess it was just showing that Erin really does see Michael as a father figure, which gives Michael much joy. The pause was so long after he told her that he wasn't her father, I expected her to say that he *was* her father.

I am beginning to tire of Jim being turned into a useless oaf.

Loved Andy and the dried seahorses. That was awesome.

This was a return to former glory for The Office. It was a fantastic episode where everyone got to shine, if only with a few lines (like Darryl and Creed). I loved the last segment. "Seriously, if you break her heart, I will literally kill you."

Michael Scott + office party outside outside of the office = the ultimate in awkwardness. Every time.

Two questions:

1) Really, using actual "Glee" footage during NBC programming? I mean, making reference to a popular show on a competing network is one thing, but this was basically a 22-minute "Glee" commercial ... color me surprised.

2) Anyone get the feeling (after that "father-daughter" moment at the end) that Erin could wind up being Michael's replacement? I just get the feeling that the NBC execs are planting those seeds ("Hey, Michael Scott was dumb and clueless, and Erin is at least twice as dumb and clueless, she's the perfect fit!")
