He has a "new" album of previously unreleased material coming out December 14th called simply "MICHAEL".

Here's the first single- "Breaking News"

http://breakingnews.michaeljackson.com/

I'm a fan but man, this is a pretty awful song. I liked it better when I heard it as Tabloid Junkie in 1995. This is like a sub-standard copy of that. I'm really not impressed with this song. Hearing his name so many times in the song is pretty annoying.

And is it really a good idea to have his first posthumus single directly reference the child molestation allegations?

What were they thinking with making this song the lead single?

Being such a big Michael fan, I'll give this album a listen. However, those closest to Michael (excluding his p.o.s. father and maybe even his often-times misguided mother) seemed to hate the idea of a posthumous MJ album full of unreleased and unfinished material. According to them, he was such a perfectionist, he would NEVER want people to listen to his unreleased stuff. If it was unreleased/unfinished, he considered it unfit for public consumption.

I hope none of that is the case, but honestly I wouldn't be at all surprised. I hope there's some good stuff on there though. I'd hate for his final album to be a piece of junk.

Michael's family worked out a deal where there will be several albums like this released over the next 10 years. It will be a great way to recoup not only the lost money from the This Is It concerts, but it will also help get him out of his debt.

While this is true, MJ's perfectionism could've also been a hindrance, especially when you consider how his opinion of what 'perfect' was really seemed to slip over the years. There could be loads of great songs in the vault that weren't released since Jackson didn't think they were commercial enough, or that might've been ruined by overproduction.

StingArmy (and others),

Check out this demo called Love Never Felt So Good. It's an outake from (I think) the Thrilelr sessions.

I hope it makes the album.

PROPHECY~!

OK, not a hugely surprising thing to predict, but it was the album's hit single.

Well, it isn't on the album (maybe with next year's release?).

Wikipedia has the tracklisting which I've also seen elsewhere:
