If Booker T gets that excited going to a 7-11, imagine how he's gonna get when he finds out that Slurpees are free today.

Maaan, no 7-11s anymore in Central Maine (at least near where I live and/or work). This really sucks.

Edit: Okay, I went to the store locator and there is one, but it's 20 miles away. You think it's worth a 40 mile round trip to get a Free Slurpee?

7-11 needs to just finally break down and offer a limited edtiton Squishee cup.

Also, I just saw the combination slurpee/soda cup.

Thank God for science........

For those that haven't read the press release, the free Slurpees are only for the first 1000 people. Which, knowing rush hour traffic, means they exhausted that supply by 9 am local time.

You know, the department where I work actually handles 7-11 Eleven paperwork. We'er thinking of going over at lunchtime and demanding free stuff or else. :>

Well I got my free slurpee in the dixie cup serving (7.11 oz.) I may try to go for another one later since the guy who runs the 7-11 doesn't seem like the type that would keep count of customers getting slurpees or how many times somebody got a slurpee in one day.

155 miles away from the closest 7-11.

Free Slurpees aren't quite worth it. Oh well.

My closest one was one i had used for years...... 13 mins away. The gas station part was citgo. Anyway they built a new Citgo and closed the old 7-11 and citgo. Now the closest one is like 30 mins.... but it's not on the way to my old work anymore. Gotta love it when that happens.

I have three on my drive to work, including one directly across the street from my store, and I only live about five-6 miles away from my job, and two others within 5-10 minutes from my house.

We had a franchisee go bankrupt and sell all of his 7-Elevens to an ultra-bad chain called "Kum & Go" of all things. Seven states worth of 7-Elevens gone just like that.

On the other hand, they were REALLY badly run.

But I still miss my Slurpees and Casa Buena Bean & Cheese Burritos.
