Booking any one of those guys to win a world heavyweight title is grounds for execution in much of the world.
Kidman would be all right, though. As long as the storyline to build him up made sense. | Dahak

| #22 Posted on 12.7.02 1934.26 Reposted on: 12.7.09 1958.22 | Someone earlier said it's not how many championships youv'e had but how long you have been champ. So I did some research (O.K. I am lame) and compared the 7 modern legitimate WWF/WCW champions. I start in the early 80's and don't count Angle, Jericho, or the Rock since WWF owned WCW so it's not really the same. I counted total title reigns and how long as champ. I didn't want to figure out how many days so I just did months. Even a 1 day title reign counts as a month. Hogan was champ 11 times for 107 months Flair was champ 16 times for 122 months Savage was champ 6 times for 23 months Hart was champ 7 times for 24 months Nash was champ 5 times for 17 months Sid was champ 4 times for 9 months Show was champ 3 times for 7 months
So as probably everyone guessed Hogan and Flair are very close. I would have to give the nod to Hogan because of his longer average reign and that Hogan was more successful in WCW than Flair in WWF. Hart and Savage are fighting over 3rd place. I like both and they are very close together. But Savage would get my vote. Hart's WCW career sucked with the injuries and the 23 heel turns. But as a champion of any kind Hart would get my vote. They were both great IC champs with Savage a little better. But Hart was also a very good tag champ. Nash had a long WWF title reign. Last year long reign. On paper Nash looked like a good WWF champ. His WCW titles were always controversial. Gave up or was stripped 3 times. Awarded himself the title once. Hell, his only "legitimate" title loss was in a tag team match so even that is suspect. Sid alwasy seemed to me to be an emergency champion. Little skill or charisma but great look. Sid was stripped of both his WCW titles. First by Nash and second by Russo in the reboot. Show is the only one on here that has beaten both Hogan and Flair for the title. Not much else to say. | CTX

I think the closest to that would be Raven who, as someone already pointed out, has had 23 Hardcore title reigns, 1 WCW LH title reign, 1 WCW Tag title reign, 2 ECW Title reigns and 4 ECW Tag title reigns, totalling 31 titles, which doesn't include some of the Indy titles he held in his early days. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
