Something compelled me to look this info up, so if anyone is wondering the ages of superstars, here ya go. Some of this stuff surprised me. Guys with * next to their name means they still have a birthday coming in 2002

53-Ric Flair
48-Hulk Hogan*
44-Faarooq, Kevin Nash
41-Godfahter
40-Ivory*, Bossman, Undertaker
39-Hardcore Holly
38-Al Snow*, Billy Gunn*, Jacqueline
37-Raven*, Booker T, Mike Awesome
36-Shawn Michaels*, Goldust
35-Hugh Morrus*, Perry Saturn*, Rikishi*, Terri*, Chris Benoit, Kane
34-Bradshaw*, Tazz*, Eddie Guerrero, William Regal
33-Kurt Angle*, Funaki*, Lance Storm
32-Triple H*, Kanyon
31-Chris Jericho*, Dawn Marie*, Rob Van Dam*, Spike Dudley*, Tajiri*, Chavo Guerrero, Mark Henry, Tommy Dreamer, Val Venis, Victoria
30-Bubba Ray Dudley*, Crash*, Steven Richards*, Big Show, Scotty 2 Hotty, The Rock
29-Albert*, D-Von Dudley*, X-Pac*, Sean O'Haire
28-Christian*, Edge*, Justin Credible*, Billy Kidman
27-Matt Hardy*, Rey Mysterio Jr.*, The Hurricane*, Lita, Test
26-Torrie Wilson*, Trish Stratus*,
25-Maven*, John Cena, Johnny Stamboli
24-Jeff Hardy*
23-Molly Holly*, David Flair
22-Stacy Keibler*, Randy Orton

Didn't have anything on: Batista, Brock Lesnar, Chris Nowinski, Chuck Palumbo, D'Lo Brown, Jackie Gayda, Jamie Noble, Jazz, Linda Miles, Nidia, Rhyno, Rico, Rob Conway, Shawn Stasiak

I don't know how much you can read into these numbers, since it has more to do with wear and tear to their bodies and not their age, but the WWE skews a lot older than I thought it did. Edge is the only under 30 guy close to the main event. (Edit: And Lesnar, forgot him cause he's in the no info section) The two that really stick out as surprising to me are Gunn and Molly. Had no idea he was so old and she was so young. Anyway, I'm not sure there was much of point, besides FYI, here so...

Damn, Godfather's 41? Didn't think he was that old... then again, he has been in the WWF for over 10 years...

And does this officially make Ivory a MILF?

And I would believe that Linda, Jackie, and Nidia are no older than 26. IIRC, Tough Enough insisted on people 18-25. Gotta nail that precious MTV demographic...

Ivory is FINE for 40.

And this list is depressing for people like me in their mid-20's.

On the plus side, Molly is only 23! That's alot of great wrestling to be had!

Why is this list depressing?
It shows the way the wrestling world works (and should i guess)
Most wrestlers start getting serious around 20, spend about 5 years training and struggling. Enter a big fed and spend 3-5 years working their way up, and reaching the top of their level (be it main event or upper-midcard) around 30 after which they spend 5 years there before they start to decline but hold on to their spot frantically.

At 40 they are pretty much too old to go with the young guys but still try to stay on top..

And WTF? Is Hunter only 32??I thought he wuold be nearer to 35.

MAIN EVENT GUYS:
Steve Austin [35] Has about 2 good years left if he wants one last run...
The Rock [30] Will probably split between Hollywood and WWF for a while...
Triple H [32] Depending on injury, probably 2-4 good years left.
The Undertaker [40] Gone in under two years.
Kane [35] Gone in under three years.
Chris Benoit [35] 3-5 good years left.
Chris Jericho [31] 3-7 good years left.
Rob Van Dam [31] 2-5 good years left.
Kurt Angle [33] 3-5 good years left...at least.
Kevin Nash [44] Done in a year or two.
Hulk Hogan [48] Done in a year or two.

So...once three big men are gone [Nash/Hogan/Taker], the young guns will step in. Young, as in, 10 years younger.

Farooq and Nash are the same age. Farooq looks great for 44, works a lot stiffer and takes more bumps (when do you remember Nash taking any real bumps in the last few years).

I remember Farooq being OK on the stick in the NOD days. IMO he deserved another run near the top before gearing down. Instead, he kind of got caught in neutral in the APA gig.

Just some notes:

(1) I always though Buh-Buh Ray was YOUNGER than D-Von.

(2) I knew Regal was a LOT younger than he looks. He just looks and dresses like an old fart.

(3) I'm not surprised of Billy Gunn's age since he's been in the WWF/E since like '93 or so. I think only Shawn (if you count him) and UT are the only mainstays that have been there longer than Billy.

(4) God bless Ric Flair. His 53 year old body's all saggy and leathery but the man can still take a superplex - from UT of all people.

From the WO website yesterday:
In a preview for the house show there over the weekend, the Mobile Register had an article with Rikishi, talking about his 16-year-old twin sons who want to be pro wrestlers and he has them a practice ring in their backyard.

Rikishi ain't 35, unless he impregnated someone at the age of 9. It's possible, but unlikely. Rikishi's got to be in his early 40s at least. Remember, this guy was 1/2 of the SST.
By the way, what are the chances we'll see a tag team match between the Sons of Fatu and the sons of Davey Boy Smith and Ric Flair (not David, but the younger one) somewhere down the line?

I believe that Rico is in his lower to mid-30's, I rember it being said by J.R. in his Ross Report before Rico appeared on TV. Wow, some are older than I thought and some are younger. If it was so hard for HHH to comeback at 31-32 years of age w/ a torn quad it will take Nash more than 6 months at the age of 44(get well old man).

Rico's 40. That was the big concern about him getting to the WWF/WWE now, was that he was 39 when he was a developmental talent, and the spot he'd be given could've gone to someone younger with more upside.

Oh, so he couldn't impregnate a girl at 19 either, apparently. Man, someone needs to work on THIER math skills.

I am also surprised at Molly's youth. Girl looks good. She's got years left. Here's to Molly. I also can't believe Triple H is only 32. And Rock is 30? Hmmmmm, and all these years JR's been saying he's 28 years old, half the time he was YOUNGER than 28. Interrresting.

Where'd these ages come from? I'm just curious, as I don't believe Hogan's or Flair's ages. I feel like they both probably skim about 5 years off.

Whoops. But I made a 750 on the math part of the GRE....

As far as Flair, my parents have been bugging me for the better part of three years that he's really older than them (they're both around 55), citing specific memories of him wrestling in the upstate South Carolina area in the late 1960s. I think they're confusing him with some other blond wrestler, since I've always heard Flair didn't even train until the 70s, and debuted in Minnesota.

Hogan I could have sworn I saw listed as 47 years old in the 1997 PWI Almanac. But that might be poor memory.

I wouldn't be suprised if Hogan's been lying about his age for 20 years, and my Grandmother remembers seeing Ric Flair wrestle. Now, she's not that old, but Flair has had to have been wrestling since the late 50s, at least.

I wonder if our respective family members are remembering Buddy Rogers or something. My parents were (and are) certainly not wrestling fans, so they could be mistaken--though they swear that it was Ric Flair. I'm sure they'll bug me about it again next time I'm home and wrestling's on.

check the math here. 35-16=19 He could easily have fathered them.

your parents are probably talking about Nature Boy Buddy Landell
