With Kevin Nash probably done, and if Triple H joins the nWo
there will be three former D-X members(Xpac,HHH and HBK). There will be two former WCW-nWo members(Xpac and The Big Show). There should be no nWo without the three old wise men(Nash,Hall, and Hollywood Hulkster). I'm usually not for old stables if you can form new ones, and I have always liked the nWo. But kill off the nWo storyline, and reform D-X. Wouldn't that make more sense? Tell me what you think.

I think they should do away with the nWo but I also think they should leave D-X on the shelf.

I agree DX is poop.

Why, why, WHY!? Why do people want them to bring back these old stables? The Flock. Don't wanna' see 'em. WWE wouldn't do it right. 4 Horsemen. Sorry, that's a WCW thing and it would just poop up the name of the first fifty original 4 Horsemen stables. DX. Okay, I loathe these guys the last time they brought them back. Besides whatever they do with DX even if you liked the first time, you ain't gonna' like it now. It's no longer 1997. They can't do anything cool that hasn't already been done better. What are they gonna' do? Boycott outside of the NWA building while Triple H asks them to "let his person go"? Here's an idea. Why no build NEW stables. They've got an insurgance of new talent. How about a lot of the new guys ban together in a New Blood liek stable, NOT named New Blood, and do something. But, they should start from total scratch and not worry about stables like them in the past (IE newblood) and try and do their own storylines. Plus, for me, the stable has run it's course. We had a couple of years of good stables, not I just don't care. So, unless Booker and Goldust start their own stable, then I'm against it.

Not to be negative, bcause the nWo has had the start to some pretty decent storylines, but all in all they haven't live up to anybody's expectation.

In terms of stables, I think a new Varsity Club type stable made up of "real" athletes featuring Brock, Chris Nowinski, and some new guys like Shelton Benjamin or John Cena would rock. Heyman could be the mouthpeice and give worked-shoots about how they will break the glass ceiling, etc.

I think you make a lot of good points, but the D-X idea is a great way to defuse the nWo. Then you can have D-X fight each other so that it can end in ring. I hate when storylines are defused, insted bring them to an end that people can rember. D-X has had it's day but you can't have any fueds with the founders of the nWo(Nash=Hurt, Hollywood=Smackdown, and Hall=NWA-TNA). New D-X: Big Show leaves because he doesn't fit in. HHH fueds with HBK as to who started D-X, Xpac wrestles for HBK(who can be his over-priced valet). Trips wins and Nash and HBK and the nWo-D-X storyline go off into the night. It will take about a month and one Pay-Per Veiw. I still like the idea of new fresh stables, a Booker/Goldust stable would be money. And hey, Scott the Varsity Club has a nice ring to it! Good idea.

they should leave D-X alone unless HHH is going to go from
the ultra serious "Cerebrial (sp?) Assassin" to the sophmoric D-X prankster w/ michaels

but there is a valid point
there should be no nWo w/o Nash, hall, or hogan
also
there should be no D-X w/o HBK, or HHH

I agree. I think without a 100% Hogan, Hall, and Nash, the nWo is just a waste of time. I dare say that this is the worst version of the nWo since Jarrett and the Harris Brothers (don't get me wrong, I like Jarrett, but one man can only do so much). They should just kill the nWo now.

I think a Dangerous Alliance type group would be great for the RAW roster right now. Brock, Kanyon, Nowinski, maybe a couple of other guys. And unlike a lot of the stable names out there, Dangerous Alliance hasn't been killed by remakes.

We do need a stable of heels, that are really "Heels". NO more babyface pops for Old washed up has-beens that are pretending to be heels! IE: NWO

d-X could be possible, especially now that the nWo is to the point where it's a B-team in there.

Also, since Billy is no longer tag champion, you could always break him and Chuck up... a "higher calling," if you will. In hindsight, *maybe* they'll let Rico wrestle, finally.

I had the exact same idea. Now that it's just HBK and X-Pac surely they'll fade out the whole nWo thing, do a disbanding angle. I mean, Kev can't even stand around cutting promo's and flicking his hair anymore. Scott Hall's gone. It's gonna be real hard to sell the Big Show involvement anymore since that was all Hall & Nash firing him up and reminding him of his former allegiance to him.

It sure looks like HHH is going to stay face and fight them. That would suck. I much prefer to see shoot friends on the same side rather than fighting eachother but maybe that's the smark in me, I just think they have great and believable chemistry together.

I think they should bring in Justin Credible and HHH as heels. Then you'd could call it The Clique or DX or whatever and you'd have a tag team and a world title contender.

If they could bring back Hall a little later that would be great.

Why would D-X be any better than the nWo? Lest we forget, d-X was an intentional rip-off of the nWo.

Besides, I don't want to go back to the Attitude era. I like watching wrestling, not people pissing on motorcyles. And I'm not even going to talk about the twenty or so WrestleCrap scenarios that came about as part of the Attitude era.

I thought the main goal for any wrestler was to become a succesful singles attraction with no help from a manager, valet, stable, etc. In that case, why would HHH ever want to reform D-X. It ain't gonna happen.

Stables are great for elevating midcarders or just plain giving them something to do. Some of the greatest angles of all time have been stable vs. stable or a stable breaking up. Usually you need a leader who is either a main eventer or a contender for a secondary title (like the Rock and the Nation). Everyone else gets to ride on his coat-tails for a while, and possibly go over him when the stable eventually breaks up. What midcarder wouldn't want that? And as for the established leader, who cares if he WANTS to do it? He's not the boss; he's an actor.

I'd love to see a Heyman-led stable, possibly featuring a mix of some old ECW guys (like a returning Rhyno) and new guys like Brock. However, I think stables work best when there are two rival stables competing on several fronts (eg for IC and Tag titles), so a face stable would be in order IMHO.

Why do we have to have stables anyways? I like the Jericho/Angle team we got for awhile, who's only common bond was their association with Vince. We don't need no stinkin' stables!

Bringing back old stuff for a second/third/fourth run just shows that Vince's crack Creative Staff has a hard time coming up with original ideas.

Why does Hollywood always try feeding us movies based on old TV shows, or movies that are re-makes of old movies, or movies that are Hollywood versions of foreign films? Same reason WWE is flogging that dead nWo horse: NO NEW IDEAS.

Maybe the Modern Wrestling Writer just doesn't know how to write for stables these days? God knows it's a simple enough formula: the Stable beats up a lot of people and (this part is VERY IMPORTANT) wins titles. WITHOUT A TITLE, THE STABLE IS MEANINGLESS.
