I'll go see it, but it won't make a dime, I'm sure.

EDIT: Fuck me... can someone fix the title here, I kan't speel.

I really hope an AD movie happens, but I'll believe it when I see it.

This will most likely be straight to DVD.

With Ron Howard and Brian Grazer involved, I don't think it will. I mean, Firefly was a movie.

As much as I loved the show, I think the window has closed for a movie.

Agreed.

I adored the show but I had enough closure with the, albeit it abrupt, 3rd season.

Besides, Running Wilde seems to be filling the gap that Arrested Development left, if early reviews are to be believed (and I hope they are).

Edit: I'll still go and see it, obviously. ;)

I was at a screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World tonight and Edgar Wright, Michael Cera, Anna Kendrick, and Jason Schwartzman were in attendance for a post-movie Q&A.

The last question of the night was about the Arrested Development movie. Cera, visibly displeased, said that the movie will come out "in about a year." Take that with a grain of salt, but it was an interesting answer.

The reason I think a movie has to be made is not just because of how good it could be but because they owe us one to pay off the last line of the series as the ultimate call-forward instead of just a sad idle tease.

You get the feeling that Cera is sick of answering the questions about an AD movie by this point, especially since he's the one member of the cast whose film career has really taken off?
