Well, not bad. Ritchie has done pretty well as a starter in his career (save for an 0-8 start last season). Kip never really lived up to his expectations, and I will miss him. I am very glad that we didn't give up Garland for Erstad; I think Jonny Garland will be a great pitcher very soon. So I guess we'll see. Let me be the first to say, the campaign starts now. Ray Durham for MVP!

He had one good season and two marginal ones. I think the Sox got hosed on this deal. Ritchie will flop. He's no Lionel.

Now that's a good one. You're right, he isn't all that great, but we'll see. Royce Clayton wasn't exactly great when we got him and all he did was come out and hit... .100 for the first half of the season. OK, bad example. Never mind. Go Bears.

| #5 Posted on 15.1.02 1119.00 Reposted on: 15.1.09 1145.20 | It just took Royce a while to get on track. He *did* hit like .320 the last 90 or so games this year. I don't think the Sox have enough to make the playoffs, but I do think they have enough to stay in the race if everyone comes back healthy, and the curse of the torn Labrum has worn off. Either way, I'll enjoy sitting there in the sunshine watching some baseball. Something to fill the void between football seasons.
There, I feel better now. | The Big Kat

| #6 Posted on 17.1.02 1647.07 Reposted on: 17.1.09 1651.53 | It is a long offseason, but hopefully the Bears will make it about 3 weeks shorter. Actually, there will be some Bears to watch in the Pro Bowl besides Glyn Milburn, so that's another week.
